I had braces as a teenager in Taranaki and was never happy with the end result. I decided to finally do something about it in my 40’s. My dentist recommended John. I found him easy to deal with – he has a clear plan, always explained what was happening and next steps and was very patient. I am very pleased with the end result and am impressed with what he managed to achieve given the complexities. For the first time in my life I smile in photos and am not highly self-conscious of my teeth. I would highly recommend John – in fact should my children inherit my teeth (I hope not!) I will be taking them to him for braces.

My son was referred to John for his orthodontics as his case was complicated and he needed an expert to fix his teeth. John was very cautious and made several plans and discussed with us each option's pros and cons. Eventually, we chose the best plan with the help of John. We have been with John for nearly three years. My son's braces were removed last week. We are so happy to see the results; he becomes such a handsome young man with a brilliant smile. He definitely becomes more confident; every kid deserves a nice smile!

I had very bad crowding teeth until I was nearly 50. But John and his team gave me the confidence to smile. I actually enjoyed the progress of my teeth looking better after every visit.
His practice is small but very comfortable setting which is all we need for the frequent visits in two and half years.

I had my teeth done with John twice, and each time he provided me with a tailored treatment plan at a great price. Even after two years of getting my braces off, my teeth are still perfect. I got my braces off about 3 years ago and my teeth are still perfectly straight and I get compliments on them all the time - even from my dentist! They have also been great when I have needed to come back in to get a new wire or retainer. Would highly recommend!
