The venue manager responds quickly and is super friendly and helpful.

The location and venue are incredible. Full kitchen, sound system, tables and chairs, it literally has everything you need and at a great price. I have organised lots of events all over Auckland and it’s not only the best BYO venue I’ve ever used, it’s by far the best value. When we did the first recce I thought it was too good to be true, it really is that good, and don’t get me started on the deck and the views.

We hired it for a birthday party and had a DJ, a 360 camera photo booth, 2 tables set up for food and still loads of space for our 80 guests.

From start to end, the whole process was easy and seamless.

We highly recommend and will definitely be back for more events.

A phenomenal venue for any celebration. I held my 30th here and cannot fault it one bit. Booking and organising the event was straightforward and easy as the venue manager was a breeze to work with. The kitchen boasts an incredible amount of fridge space and the views from the deck are incredible. We were lucky enough to experience a stunning sunset on the evening. The AV set up is super straight forward and you cannot beat the ease of that many safe, close and free parking spaces. We will forever recommend this venue. Do not hesitate to book.

Recently hired this clubroom and it was a gem! It has everything you need and the sweeping views of the harbour bridge is a welcome bonus! Also, Chris is super easy to deal with.

The facilities kitchen, fridges audio and visual equipment were top notch and easy to operate, thank you for your expert handover and easy to follow online and hardcopy information.

Online services were easy to use and the booking calendar very useful. Correspondence booking forms and payment being equally easy to complete, email response's were prompt and informative.

I am sure that after enjoying a great afternoon at the NBYC many of our guest's and indeed ourselves will be looking ahead to our next formal occasion or special birthday with your amazing venue being the first choice to host our event.

We hosted our sons 1st Birthday Party here and the venue was perfect. The location is absolutely gorgeous overlooking Auckland harbour. A perfect place for a party or special celebration. Such an easy seamless process. Highly recommend!

We recently hired the Yacht Club for my dad's 60th birthday. It was the perfect venue; beautiful views, great practicality, everything worked and we received really good communication from Chris, which made the whole experience easy and seamless! Would recommend to anyone.

We had our wedding there and we all loved the location lovely weather nice sea view followed by beautiful harbor bridge and skytower and boats around. Cant have better than that. We have hired this venue for my 50th birthday celebration 2 days ago. The hire cost is a little pricey as compared to a regular hall hire but it was worth every penny because of the superb view of the harbour bridge, CBD and the waters not to mention the modern facilities (2 heat pumps, lots of fridges, nice kitchen and good sound system). We were so lucky to have a good weather to enjoy the sunset at the large deck. My guests have nothing but praise with the awesome venue. My young adult guests said the view is instaworthy! Lots of parking especially on weekend nights. Highly recommended!

Such a fantastic venue! Have used it twice in the last 2 years for our special occasions and have had such a great time, million dollar views and excellent facilities, lots of parking.

Great venue, affordable and good value for money. Beautiful views and plenty of parking for a night time event. Well stocked kitchen and lots of tables and chairs that are available to use for your event.

Only downside to this venue is having to pack up and take all your rubbish away with you and put away all tables and chairs on the night of your event.

A fantastic venue with an amazing setting and everything we needed to host a fabulous event. We have used the NBYC twice now and are can't wait until the next function.

This is the 2nd time we have hired this venue for our Christmas function / dinner. Absolutely amazing venue, perfect for hosting a group of people, has everything you need in one spot, and the team there are so friendly & helpful. Would recommend this venue to anyone:)

I hired the space for my 30th birthday celebration and it was an outstanding venue. The smaller room that opens out on to the large deck was a perfect entertaining space for a mid-size group (approx 40 people). The beautiful views across the harbour made an amazing backdrop to a great night. Everyone was raving about the venue all night!

We were highly impressed by the range of kitchen supplies and set up equipment that was available onsite - chairs, tables, glassware, sound system, visual screens, etc. The facilities were simple to use with clear instructions. Chris (the host/hirer) was wonderful with communication about the venue before the hireage and was great to deal with on the evening. He was clear, helpful and incredibly friendly.

I look forward to hosting another event in the space sometime soon but for now, can highly reccommend to any others who want a beautiful space on the shore for an event.

We hosted my 40th birthday party at the yacht club. The layout was perfect. The guests loved the views of the water and the city skyline and the bridge. The audiovisual equipment was top quaility and worked perfectly. Very well organised club and great people to deal with. Thanks!

Not a bad spot for s function. Kids can play at the park across the road. Ferry terminal is also across the road with boat ramp.
