Exceptional dedication to learners, passionate maths teachings. Very grateful to Duncan and his team in bringing up our son's maths levels. A difficult sell to my hubby early on, as a big financial investment but neither of us regretted it.

My year 7 daughter was really struggling with maths. She just wasn't grasping the basics year after year and was starting to loose her confidence. She was not wanting to go to school and even though I was having constant meetings with her teacher about it, nothing was really changing. A friend put me onto Number Works in New Lynn and we decided to try it for a term. That was over a year ago. She always wants to go, even during lock down when it was online she enjoyed it. Her confidence has grown hugely. She has had different tutors, but so far she has loved them all. They just all seem to be very kind, supportive and patient. Duncan who runs the centre is fantastic. He keeps in touch with regular updates and really seems to care about the outcomes of the kids who go there. I liked him from the day I met him to discuss sending her there. Our experience has been great. My daughter will most likely never be a mathematician but at least she has so much more confidence and understanding of maths now.

Duncan and the team show immense care to our daughters. The girls ask to go to tutoring and it has increased their confidence. Thanks team.

I am thankful to Duncan and his team at NumberWorks'nWords New Lynn because they helped my son be confident in his writing. My son went from having no interest in writing to tell it all by writing his thoughts on paper. He can complete his English assignment without hesitation or help from relatives.

Fantastic! Duncan and the team of tutors are amazing, helpful and provide a detailed update on our children’s status and what stage they’re at through out the term. Tutoring has made an incredible difference to our primary school aged children’s confidence in both Maths and English which has come through in comments from their teachers at school. Very small groups per tutor allows the children instant help during the lesson as required. We’ve been very happy with Duncan and the team at the New Lynn branch and highly recommend them!

Our boys love going to Math tuition. Duncan and his team at New Lynn are awesome! The combination of maths strategies and games in between really help with keeping young ones engaged.

My son had been struggling with Maths at Intermediate School last year and was well below the standard by mid 2017. He had two terms of tutoring with Duncan and the team at Numberworks New Lynn last year and lifted his assessment up to be sitting at the national standard. We have continued with tutoring for his first term at High School and he has just achieved a pass with excellence for his first Maths assessment. He is so much more confident now with Maths and enjoys it. Thanks so much to Duncan and the team at Numberworks New Lynn we will definitely keep the tutoring going!
