One Tree Grill

Food was delicious- we had the 3 course menu. We asked if we could have a different dessert which was no trouble at all. They even brought out 3 truffles and a candle for my partners birthday.
Service was amazing. Attentive but not overbearing, chatty but not over familiar.
Food was evenly spaced out - nothing rushed, nothing too slow.

Have been to One Tree Grill several times now. We always have the 6 course degustation and have never been disappointed. I'm not a drinker so can't comment on the wine pairing but they do have an extensive wine cellar.

Amazing restaurant! Definitely do the degustation menu with the matching wines. Definitely definitely worth it. I’ve attached a photo of the menu and the service is really good.

Overall, the main course was amazing, easily making it into my top 3 favorite foods. However, the dessert didn't quite reach the same level of excellence.

The service was rather average, which was unexpected from a top-tier restaurant. There were instances of staff taking plates without asking for permission, and a few other details that indicated a lack of proper staff training.
We enjoyed our time, especially if you're someone who appreciates good food. It's definitely a must-try if you enjoy fine dining experiences.

One of the best restaurants we have visited in the Auckland region. The dining area is beautiful yet comfortable, and the menu is displayed on an iPad with images to help make your selection. The food was out of this world. We had the confit lamb belly and mushroom entrees, the pork belly and eye fillet steak for mains and the cardamom semifreddo for dessert. Each dish was well thought out and the flavours worked well together. The highlight was also the friendly yet professional and attentive servers we had, Antonio and another young kiwi gentleman. We were never left waiting long, they both topped up water glasses and cleared plates very quickly. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Food and service was absolutely spot on! I love that i got to celebrate my birthday here. For starters, we were welcomed very warmly and led properly to our table and got offered to get our coats stowed for us. Then we were provided tablets to browse the menu but got explained the seasonal items. Our waitress was attentive but not in-your-face. I love that she continuously topped up our water. The bread to start with was done well, truffle butter is really yum. Our entrees were delicious, mains superb and dessert was fabulous. I would give this place a 10 if i could, and won’t hesitate to bring friends and family back. Thank you so much for making my birthday so special ️

Fantastic atmosphere, fantastic food and the service was great too. Beautiful ambience with the fire on a chilly night. Will definitely be back.

A fantastic evening with my family. Friendly staff and great service! Recommend that you try the eye fillet steak and Hapuka. The mushroom entree and the chocolate dessert was also to die for!

Wonderful ambiance, delicious food and great service. I have been going to One Tree Grill for thirteen years and the consistency in all areas is astounding. A further note great selection of some very nice aged wines by the glass. Well worth the visit to one of the top restaurants in Auckland.

Delicious meal, attentive staff - perfect for my wife's birthday.
We particularly liked that it wasn't too noisy, and the tablet for a menu was quite cool.

We dined at One Tree Grill on 30/7/21 for my husband’s pre-birthday celebrations whilst visiting Auckland recently. The whole experience from the moment we arrived was enjoyable. Drinks at the bar to start off with expert guidance on pre-dinner drinks. The subdued lighting that created a romantic setting. Choosing our food via their tablets was fun. Our table seating was well spaced from fellow diners and our waiter and waitress were lovely without being intrusive. The food was yummy. We over indulged but it was worth it. For that special occasion … to treat your loved one … to celebrate an event or just to enjoy good food and wine and a beautiful setting - you can’t go past One Tree Grill. We live in the Bay of Plenty which is probably a good thing as we’d be here every week I think! Thanks for the experience. We will visit again next time we go to the big smoke.

Still and example of fine dining in Auckland that is hard to fault. Service was perfectly timed at all times not too much not too little. Food was beautifully presented and cooked to the perfectly matched wines. This establishment deserves all credits given.

Lovely treat evening out. Fabulous venue - from cocktails at the bar looking down into the cellar to lots of great spots around the restaurant to eat. Attentive wait staff, perfect recommendations - loved the beef fillet. The iPad menus were perfect and a great way to see our choices. And wow what a extensive drinks list!

Love love love the food here, especially the entrees (duck liver parfait, salmon, and beef tartare), customer service was excellent, the ipad menu was a nice touch, and ambience was very intimate.

Amazing each time we go there and last night was no different.
Service is top notch but the food is even better
Partner was very impressed and enjoyed the whole experience from start to the end.

Definitely a must every now and then or as your budget allows. Had the rib eye steak on the bone was cooked perfectly with great service and perfect ambiance. Will definitely be back.
