Orakei Bay Village reviews
56Great boutique shopping centre with gift shops, craft brewery, cafes and eateries, and of course our favourite supermarket in Auckland.
I generally go to OBV because l'm going to Ampersand Cafe /Restaurant. The stores are very niche orientated, but the Urban Herbalist and Farro are both good. And King's downstairs has helpful gardening staff and a great cafe.
Amazing place. Excellent service all round. Cheerful staff everywhere. Very upmarket but enjoyable.
Perfect place for a great lunch and coffee. Offers a lot of options from Grooming to entertainment
Went to the curry place and the toilets are too far away from the restaurant. Parking is bad too.
Differentiated market. A little expensive, but quite diversity of products and very good quality.
Awesome place, been here after really a long time. Enjoyed it a lot. The view and place to try for.
I love this dog friendly Cafe. Great food and service with excellent coffee - one of my Auckland favorites.
Great visit to Kings with my dog and then vets. Highly convenient and dog friendly. Would not go there if not so.
Very 'boutique' set of shops, garden center, Faro supermarket and a bunch of cafes and restaurants. Nice atmosphere. Upper car park tend to get full but there is a larger one below.
A really lovely combination of businesses and super close to the basin walkway! Love to grab a smoothie bowl and then go for a walk afterwards on a good day. Parking can be really hard though so plan to frustrated by that. It is also a very busy road so best to be cautious. I usually prefer to take my bike if I can just to avoid the headache. Another good option is to take the train since it is very close to a station.
Great coffee and delicious chocolate raw cookie from Bowl and Arrow. Picked up some beautiful lamb shanks and potato sourdough from Farro's. Then finished off with a cheeky little port from Great Little Vineyards. Got all you need!
Reasonable shopping centre, but can never get a car park outside. Have to go down the side road and park at the garden centre.
It was a wet night so I scuttled in. Parking challenging but luckily got a park. Fab high end wine shop, will go back, farro and nice looking clothes shops and a bar, wasn't sure whether it just served beer, probably not. Will be back when I have more time
Small shopping center. We just walked in and out and we didn't spend much time there. We were just looking for one shop called Mustache to pick up our cookies and biscuits.
I don't go often, but every time I go I enjoy the space. Parking can be tricky, but other than that the space is nice with a few good food options. Great for a meal before or after a walk around Orakei basin
Great cookies @moustache the comfiest boutique cinema @silky otter, awesome smoothie bowls @bowlandarrow
Nice chilled out locale, although having a brown face I got a lot of 2nd takes and longer than usual stares from the locals. Put a slight dampener on the otherwise tranquil surroundings. Visited the Silky Otter - extremely friendly staff there who couldn't do enough for us and can be credited for the 4 star rating not being a 2 or 3 due to the resident shoppers or staff who couldn't be bothered even replying to our smiles and greetings.
Lovely setting, nice ambiance and good food but the staff is a bit slow in the service department. After at least 15 minutes, we had to wave for the waiter. It was mid-afternoon so, no excuse of peak time or being very occupied with housekeeping. Just a lack of attention.
It's a great place to polish up your urbanite feelings, pour yourselves another beer - from a can (: - (- and hide out
