Paint The Earth reviews
30We came here for a staff get together and hired the studio after-hours. We had so much fun that we were there for three hours but it only felt like one! The man working answered any questions we had and was so helpful! Thanks guys, we can’t wait to pick them up
Very good place to feed your creativity! The pieces are all fired white, so they are literally a blank canvas for you to paint! The work area is very well setup, with aprons to wear and a hand washing station. There are a lot of colour choices in squeeze bottles which make it easy to manage, and palettes and plenty of brush options. If you are a bit fancy, there are advanced options like stencils, claws and paint pins! You leave your work there and come back in 2 weeks and is has been through the kiln. I recommend allowing a couple of hours for a visit, as it takes a while to choose your item, the colors, think of a design and paint it. Great for kids, young and old)
Lovely experience. Very relaxing afternoon spent painting. Lots of variety to choose from and don't need to be an artist to create something unique
Took my partner here on a date today, and we both thorougly enjoyed it! Wide selection of ceramics, many tools and paints to use. The ladies are lovely and helpful (: They even pick up and deliver your drinks from Columbus Coffee across the way, straight to your table. 3 hours flew by. I would recommend to everybody and I will be defs be back again 100%.
Highly, highly, highly recommend Paint The Earth if you are a family or a group of friends or a couple or just you wanting some creative time out.
A fabulous setup that makes choosing your to-be-painted item, the colours and tools you're using so easy. Anyone can do it. It really doesn't matter if you are artistic or not. A lovely atmosphere with a beautiful original piece a weeke later:)
We have been coming here for years and today the place looks renewed and refreshed along with some new designs and colours as well as a better variety of paint brushes. Dianne and her team have done wonders with the place. It was so busy today which was wonderful to see. There are new paints, stencils and more designs than ever before.
I took the girls I nanny for (8 and 9) and they absolutely loved it. We stayed until we couldn't paint anymore (3 hrs).
When I collected the pieces, one of them was missing. I texted and the staff were apologetic and offered to courier it to us. Would do it all again in a heartbeat!
Loved this place, will definitely be back. Such an awesome way to spend any morning, but especially a wet one! The staff are lovely and really helpful, the atmosphere is so relaxed I could have stayed all day. Thank you
Really fun place. Cool for everyone even amateurs. Allow 2 hrs for full experience. Helpful staff, clean welcoming space. Will definitely go back.
Great place to take the children during the holidays, or practice your own artistic skills. Reasonably priced with helpful and friendly staff
WoW!
I took my 2 children (6yr &10yr) to Paint the Earth in school holidays. My daughter (6yr) loved it, all the different pieces and all the different colors. It called to her creative and experimental character. My son (10yr) was very cautious about it all, unless it’s a game on PlayStation it takes a lot to bring out his creative side. However his painted skull mug sits pride of place on his desk, and he wants to go back to try again and do it better!
For this reason we decided to ask Paint the Earth to be apart of my daughters birthday party. They came to our event space, bought everything the kids would need, and helped the children with color choices. The party was for children 3yrs – 15yrs and was approx. 20 kids, and Paint the Earth was perfect for them all.the children are looking forward to seeing their pieces complete, and we didn’t have to organize party bags!
Thank you to all the team at Paint the Earth.both experiences with you have been amazing
I hosted a 'paint the earth' session at home. Lara came as instructor and helper for two hours. Easy set up and pack down.
A lot of fun and Lara was at hand to help everyone in their masterpieces. Thankyou Paint the Earth
Lara came up and hosted a Paint the Earth party at our house over the weekend. It was amazing! Lara was so great with the kids, friendly and patient, and they all had the best time. We can't wait to see how the ceramics turned out. Would highly recommend!
This was the second time I’ve been to a paint the earth event and it was awesome both times! Lara brings a selection of pieces, paints and utensils, as well as helpful knowledge, and is as involved or passive as you’d like. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and exploring our creative sides as we chatted and painted! Fun group times!
We loved our experience at Paint the earth. It was little effort to organise as they have communicated clearly and replied instantly too any quaries. It was a calm and enjoyable activity for the children. They are looking forward to receiving their end product. Thank you for the amazing experience. We will be back for more!
My daughter and 7 friends thoroughly enjoyed having a paint the earth party at our place. Lots of fun, they all love getting a plate in a week and very easy for me. Sapphire was great - did all the work and explaining and helped us fix our mistakes beautifully. We plan to come to the shop and paint again soon. Thanks
Lara brought the Paint the Earth experience to my workplace for a colleague's farewell function and was incredibly organised and thorough in her instructions.
As I'm not at all artistic, I just treated it as a bit of fun and it was a great way to spend the afternoon.
My mug looked terrible when I'd finished, but Lara carefully packed it away for glazing and firing back to HQ. A week later, our mugs arrived and I couldn't believe how great they looked. If I'd been in Provence, I'd have happily bought mine as a souvenir!
A great idea for social clubs! Lara was very accommodating with us having to reschedule the event due to Covid. The team really enjoyed the event and it was great that it could all be setup at our office.
Fun ceramic painting experience - pick a blank ceramic piece (plates, mugs, trays, garden ornaments, display pieces). All equipment supplied.
I found their range of greenware a bit limited but they might have been waiting on more stock.
I would have liked if they had some catalogues or ideas for inspiration as it's hard to decide what you're going to paint if you don't know what greenware is available before you go in.
I would go again:) fun for a girls night.
My friends and I booked the place out for an after-hours birthday party and we all had an incredibly fun time! There is a large selection of pieces to choose from so there's something for everyone to paint. It's a great activity for all ages and for various levels of artistic ability. Lara was also super helpful during the entire process and was extremely hospitable - she even let us extend a bit past our booking so that all of us could finish painting our pieces without rushing. I 10/10 recommend Paint the Earth and I will definitely be back again in the future to paint more pieces! Thank you guys
