Pedro and his team installed my solar system and i am very impressed. It performs better that I expected and has been 100% reliable. During the day it runs my pool pump, pool heat pump (when we are there) and spa pool. My 14 panels generated 7,038kWhr last 12 months. I normally pay 28c per unit so the payback is good.

I got a 5kw system installed 2yrs ago I knew nothing about solar l had a budget between $10-11k. Pedro installed 14 panels and 4 batteries, Srne inverter cabling roof brackets etc, spoke to another supplier that dealt with Pedro he can't understand the maths 14 panels and 4 batteries only to hook up 12 panels? He said hes out of his depth. Why didn't u have 10 panels and 8 batteries makes more sense I don't know. Anywsy inverter crapped out just under 2 years and I rung Pedro he said warranty has run out but I can sell u another inverter for 6k including fitting, omg I don't want to deal with him anymore feel like iv been ripped offwhat do u think.

We would highly recommend Pedro, Gus and team at Total Solar. We have moved into our new house, totally off grid and are loving the system that Total Solar put together for us.
After a few hiccups with a previous company, Total Solar came to the rescue to get us all sorted and into our house in time for Christmas. The guys worked in with partial supply we already had and organised and installed the other components that were required. Pedro and team were reliable, communicated the process with us and were great to work with. This is our first experience of living off the grid, and we couldn't be happier with the choice.

To keep my installation costs down I decided to do some of the installation myself with guidance from the Total Solar team. They came over and did an initial pre installation review of where I was planning to install the components and discussed various options. They supplied all the components and hardware to get me started and were only a phone call away if I had any questions. Pedro and his team did the final inspection and handled all the paperwork to get the install certified.
I would highly recommend Pedro, Hyden and Gustavo for anyone considering installing an On-Grid solar system as a DIY project.

I found the team at Total Solar really good to deal with. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly and there was no hard sell.
They were also very competitive when it came to pricing without skimping on quality.
Although I was based outside of Auckland, they were still able to accommodate me.

Great service. The installers had great communication, skills and working efficiently. I installed the brackets, rails and panels myself but the installer showed me exactly what to do to ensure everything was correct.
The whole install process was smooth with no issues. I had contacted 3 companies for quotes and Total Solar was the only one able to provide what was needed and within my budget (One was too pricey for me and the other one never turned up).
