This was quite a surprise! We were looking for a cocktail and found this on the map and gave it a shot.

Cal greeted us and told us he would take care of us personally. We sat in a nice lounge area in the back room. The atmosphere was perfect. Very low key and cozy. Lots of cool decor and different couches to sit on.

Cal gave us the run down about their very special, hand crafted menu and why it is so unique and different than anything we have been to before. It is a great idea and we had some amazing cocktails!

I highly recommend the drinks and the guys who run it are top drawer. Would love to come back.

Great cocktail bar and amazing service. The only place we came back to twice during our trip to New Zealand, and I wish we could come back again. Great spot and really nice vibes. The owner and staff take the time to talk to you, and get to know what you like.

And I finally got to try some rare bourbons at an extremely fair price. Can't recommend it enough.

We arrived 10 days ago and finally we're drinking real cocktails with an exchange like that sure of what we're going to drink in terms of taste in the mouth! Here the cocktails are pre-batch, but are well prepared and thought out on nice ice or chilled. All in a chill lounge atmosphere.

Absolutely lovely bar in the center of Auckland! I didn't try the food, but we had several delicious cocktails and the hosts were very friendly, helpful, and kind! Will come again next time I'm in town!

I can’t speak highly enough of this place! From the moment I walked in, the owner Dany greeted me and sat a table with me to chat all things whiskey and tequila. This man knows his stuff, so a connoisseur like me instantly felt right at home. You can really tell he built this place with love and passion, and it shows. The mixed drinks are all well thought of, creative & equally tasty. Certainly the best whiskey selection I’ve came across in New Zealand so far, plus they have a full menu of other spirits reaching far beyond the brown water. Came for the drinks, stayed for the good company and warm, hospitable treatment. It really felt like I’m sitting at an old friend’s home bar! Hats off the the rest of the team- Cal and Theo for being just as welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. I am excited to see how the upcoming expansion will bring this honey hole to the next level! There's just a small sign at the entrance, so if you don't know about it, you'll miss it, but it's a very stylish shop on the second floor. The inside of the restaurant is very beautiful, and the menu is also very tasteful. Our staff's extensive knowledge and sophisticated cocktails will provide you with the ultimate relaxing afternoon experience. The drinks are made with great attention to detail, with the store's logo printed on the ice, and the taste is great. If you want to have a blissful time, I highly recommend Panacea.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this incredible cocktail bar - Panacea and now I can't stop raving about it!

The variety of drinks available was astounding, The attention to detail in both presentation and flavor showcased the true artistry of the mixologists. Oh and the food was exceptionally amazing too!

What truly amazed me, though, was the ambiance - it's an experience in itself. The serene and inviting atmosphere made my time here feel like a getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life

Panacea is such a special bar and my mind was blown by the unique cocktails that they created. On top of that the service was outstanding and they will tell you everything you need to know about the drink. I took a group of my friends here and they cant get enough of this place.

Theo and Dany have something special here. Cocktails were unique and delicious. Service was exceptional. So glad to have found this hidden gem; can’t imagine it’ll stay hidden for long.

What a find, upstairs into another world we ventured, only to be delighted by Dani and his team of connoisseurs who treated us with kid gloves, only the best of everything booze came our way and we succumbed to the experience and floated away in blissful overstanding, Sublime and ethereal, this is ART and we toast the form!
