Lovely winery with award winning wines! Johnny was kind enough to open the winery for tasting even though it was closed on Friday. Nothing pretentious, just fantastic wines and friendly service - the Viognier and Magnus are a must taste

Visited here for wine tasting, Wines were great, bought 2 bottles (white and red) to have with dinner at home.
Could see why they got many awards.

We had a great time at Passage Rock today for lunch. My wife has been before for a girls weekend away and brought my daughter and I back after such a wonderful experience she had the first time. I really appreciate not only the great wine and food, but also the very family feel and basis of the winery, and accommodating families and kids who come to visit. Our four year old daughter loved seeing all the roses, grapes, growing right by the entrance, playing with their dog, the trampoline, having a dance on the wedding platform, and was intrigued by the fountains and looking for fish. I'm grateful for all the attention to aesthetics with plant life, architecture, and art. We really enjoyed the lunch and shared the Mediterranean olives, woodfired flat bread, and cured salmon with their pinot gris which we all highly recommend. We were amazed that the owner, David, took the time to come over and say hello and connect as well.

Lovely lunch. Great service, great food and great wine. The Tematuku oysters in particular were sensational.

We went here for lunch today and can't say enough good things about the place. Wonderful wines, lovely seating and a very attentive owner. We had vegetarian and vegan food and the chef's creations here were out of this world. They were real taste explosions. If you are on Waiheke, don't miss this awesome place. My husband and I dropped in for a wine tasting 11/01/23, we were going on a hike after several wine tasting so we had hiking clothing on. My husband was driving so we were sharing one tasting. We got a rude stare then he poured our first very stingy taste! Then proceeded to ignore us. A Gentleman then stood beside us and he was waited on right away because he was ordering a case of wine. This man said please take care of this couple first, but it didn’t happen, after a minute or so we walked away!
If you want good service at this winery dress like you have money! You missed out some sales, as we bought several bottles at other wineries and you are now getting bad publicity from everyone we speak to on the island including 20 people we encountered at our bed and breakfast for 3 days and two nights! Train your staff to treat people equally.

Nice place that you can’t miss, awesome food and wine, especially wine, 2022 viognier is a wine that you definitely can’t miss, and their syrah, perfectly match with roasted lamb.

We arrived, were given menus and were left hanging… not enough people and it seemed like no one cared. We left after 20 minutes of standing around.

Quite disappointed having to drive all the way to Passage Rock just to not get service. Were given the wine tasting menus and told someone would come to us. However, after a 15-20min wait decided to leave after repeatedly being ignored after trying to get service.

Well spaced lunch area, both inside and out. Trampoline for the kids. The owner was very in explaining the art that can be found around the vineyards and that she is currently working on. Will be back for some more wine tasting

Great place for lunch in the sun and excellent wines. We arrived at what we thought was a little early and sitting in the car David walked past and asked how we were and let us know to come on in. We then went through a tasting which was one of the best and most informative we have been to on Waiheke. Then for lunch the platter was delicious and a huge amount of food for 2 people. Not a "boutique" winery I know but you got that feeling from the visit here. Thank you David and team for making it a great day out.

Had a wine tasting this afternoon with David. Was a really good experience, not only drinking his yummy wines, but learning a bit about each one. A lovely setting and a nice vineyard to visit, especially on such a beautiful, sunny day like today ️

Came by for wine tasting. Was greeted by whom we assumed was the Owner. Great guy who gave us a great introduction of their wine selection and we tried a variety of their wines. We ended buying a selection of their wines, including the Syrah, Sisters and Sauvignon Blanc.

The greeting as you arrive is warm and friendly straight away. The introduction to the restaurant and outside seating is great with tons of room and great menu. The owners are very friendly and welcoming with fantastic knowledge of their Wines which makes the tasting informative, plus the explanation of how grown and the soils for the many varieties was great as well. Once seated for our lunch, the young waiter Johnny and waitress Coco were each enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the wines and food available and very friendly, couple of lovely kids and a great compliment to the business. We choose the platter which was very well made up with plenty of variety and more than plentiful for two for lunch, even four if looking for a evening snack with the wines. A must visit when on Waiheke in a beautiful vineyard setting surrounded by native bush clad hills.

Fabulous Mediterranean lamb pizzas with yoghurt and pomegranate dressing! Great space for kids entertainment, with a trampoline and croquet among other activities to enjoy passing time. Wine tasting on offer - very cheap!
