Pasta & Cuore - Handmade Heartmade

I don’t normally bother to post reviews for either good or bad experiences.
I’m making an exception because after I just had takeaway DIY (as in: cook-at-home) pasta from Pasta & Cuore, I felt compelled to call them and compliment them on the amazing dish I just had the pleasure to enjoy.
The cheese pasta sauce alone is a treat. Combined with the prosciutto pasta it couldn’t get any better.
Is it cheap to get pasta from there? - No.
Is it worth every dollar and great value for money? - Absolutely!

Hands down one of the best meals we’ve had in New Zealand. Nonna Teresa diligently & lovingly makes the Pasta with her hands. We ordered the Bruschetta, Tortelloni, Caponata and Nonna Elsa’s Tiramisu. Top class

The pasta was alright, quite salty. Loved the atmosphere and service but we wouldn't be back. The price point is a bit high for the quality in my opinion.

The food was pretty good, with very, very nice tomato sauce for the pasta I had. As others have mentioned portion sizes for the mains are small by Kiwi stomach sizes let alone US. But, with appetizers and dessert they're perfect, both of which we had and both were very good quality. So if you're quite hungry go for the three courses because that makes for a great nicely balanced and satisfying meal.

But, sadly there was a problem with the wine. I asked the waitress if the proprietor could recommend the best drinking red wine of the $90 ones on the menu page that I actually showed her. It wasn't until I came to pay the bill that I saw I'd been charged $185 for a wine that was not on the page of the $90 wines (in fact there were two $185 wines two pages along in the menu). Whether or not I was tucked I don't know but it felt like a breach of trust. Because of this the waitress missed out on a $40 tip as I wasn't inclined to pay them even more!

Lovely place, great lemonade and pasta but on the pricey side! As close as you can get to authentic in AKL

Not cheap, but we'll worth it. Delicious and unique Italian dishes with pasta cooked to perfection.

The best little Italian restaurant in Auckland. I highly recommend it. Can't wait to go back next time I visit Auckland. The pasta is amazing and dessert too! Buonissimo!

Every time I drive passed this restaurant, Iam interested in the food there. I ordered a takeaway pasta. To be honest, it was a very small plate but cost $29. The taste was OK, don't feel it deserves that price.

Beautiful food and amazing service, we literally just can't stop thinking about their pasta and pana cotta after our visits. Will keep coming back for more.

Stumbled across Pasta & Cuore whilst looking for an early dinner in Mt Eden. The staff were very accommodating for our table of 5 plus baby. The food was so delicious and fresh and the wine menu was great. Try an orange skin wine. Unfortunately we had to rush off due to the baby needing bed so I came back the following day to grab a tiramisu. Definitely best tiramisu I have had.
Wish this beautiful restaurant was in Sydney! Will be visiting again when we return to Auckland one day. Grazie!

Haven't left a review for some time - but this place does NOT disappoint. One thing I really appreciate is good service, and the wait staff are exceptional. Thick European accents and delectable homemade pasta. 9.9/10 would smash again.

Potentially the best tiramisu in Auckland.

I did not enjoy my meal. There was barely any gorgonzola in the gorgonzola sauce, it was essentially just a cream sauce. Disappointing as gorgonzola sauce is one of my favourites. They charge extra for parmesan so I didn't dare ask for extra gorgonzola for the already expensive pasta dish.

Service and food was perfect!
Staff welcomed our wee dog in and even brought him a bowl of water. We will be back!

Best Italian food I have had outside of Italy. Simple and wonderfully cooked food. Good for vegetarians too as there is lots of choice. Great service too. Thanks for making it such a great night.

This is authentic, outstanding food. The flavours are simple but delicate- as Italian food should be. Chef has confidence in his ingredients and it shows in the plates of food!

Friendly service, always great food, nice selection of drinks too. There was a printing error in the kitchen; we had to wait our main dish more than half an hour after entrees were cleared, but no one noticed while they passed us many times to deliver other tables, so we had to call the server. I'd take indoor seats next time as we were consistently disturbed by flies which the server said to finish melon quicker as the flies like it.

The place looks like a Italy small house. The restaurant bring you in a nostalgic and comfortable feeling that push you into a Italian house. The food is simple but with diferent layers flavor and intensity. You can finish your trip in a amazing dessert. I recommend everyone going in this amazing gastronomic trip!
