Was looking for the alternator for my old 80 series. Fast and good item to pick up. Always recommend this place for 4wd factory parts.

So far so good, our old prado had had just about enough after many miles 450kkms lol. We couldn't bring our selves to hocking it off just yet, so we looked around and found these guys on trade me. There were many motors for sale at the time.unknown kms or too far for a look plus shipping one looked like a nightmare$$$$

Anyways back to the story, we rang these guys about a motor (1kz) they (Sam) priced us up a serviced second hand motor for around 4-5k witch at the time is not bad considering the turn around couple weeks out in done. I asked about a reconditioned motor he said if I went this way it would definitely last a whole lot longer, as we would all expect haha. We decided to go with a reconditioned motor, 50% deposit on the motor to get things rolling we were a couple behind in the que, so we knew it would take some time. We needed to use the truck until the motor was complete ready to go in for surgery. 2 months past with few conversations with Sam (we were a bit worried we had been robbed) lol he finally rang to tell us the motor has been complete. The truck by then was knackered oild everywhere knocking haha but still made the 4 hour trip to Auckland haha it took a 2 weeks too do the job and our truck was ready. We were excited to get the truck back and so we should have. It's so much better now missus loves it. Thanks again guys

I had a bad experience to begin with due to living far away and receiving incorrect part, but once mike found out he sent the correct part straight away. Great experience in the end. Will definitely use again.

My daughter inlaw and I, came to get our vans headrest sorted. Sam and son was so helpful and very polite. And I also should add, that they were very patient to sorting the problem out, knowing how busy it gets in there. We would recommend them to other's. Thanks again guys:)

Very poor workmanship. I had a body swap done by these guys, They pieced together my new body out of 3 different vehicles (all different colours) it was ment to be a straight swap one piece. Bolts loose, wiring hanging out, batteries to small for the terminal clamps, my side skirts from my old body didn't make it onto my new one, no Vin tag. The list goes on. I wouldn't recommend these guys to anyone

Contacted patiki 4wd for a sensor and paid, waited a week and they broke the part, then waited another week and they said they found another sensor, arrived glued half together which will not work, contacted for a refund and haven’t heard since

A simple transmission change turned into a nightmare, sam told me it was our problem that it wouldnt start after we got it back from them, 1 mechanics shop couldnt find the fault, a second diesel mechanic found the problem (2k+) a loose earth strap they hadnt tightened, just went to use 4wd and thats not working now.
A very angry man that i wouldnt reccomend to anyone, this was a couple of months without the vehicle while the fault was found, and we still have to repair it, dont use patiki 4wd

Had my prado 1kzte rebuilt by sam and his boys they did an awesome job and advised me on maintaining my cooling system in the future as this was the downfall of my truck blowing up in the first place overall good job thanks team patiki

Avoid partiki as much as you can! Useless at responding from the start and cant own up and fix there mistakes! Hasn't even sent me proof of work and my receipt yet. Useless.

Organised a part to be picked up by a friend from this place on his way through Auckland the part was ment to be put aside for him. When he turned up they did not have the part ready and still had to remove from a vehicle. He managed to go back later In the day to get it on his trip home and they would not give him the part for the price we agreed on previous over the phone. Typical wreckers

Replaced an old surf TD engine. Initially received a faulty engine from Patiki (unbeknown to them). However, how they dealt with rectifying the situation is why I gave 5 stars. They immediately agreed to replace the faulty engine with a much better one (lower kms), as well as replacing the belt, water pump, thermo and seals at their end. All my garage had to do was drop the new engine in and flush the system. Good job lads!

I've been a long time customer of Patiki and i always get great service, even after moving to Onehunga it's still worth the trip and getting the right parts and service from them.

Went in thinking I had a gearbox issue and assumed that it would require replacement. Turns out it was clutch related, which they replaced the clutch - saving me a lot of money. When they put my starter motor back on the top bolt was either hand tightened or not put in at all as my starter motor litteraly fell out 2 days (4 starts) later. They took 5 days to courier me a new starter motor (van was located in Wellsford) Refused to pay loss of work, further repairs or starter installation or refund the labour completed on the vehicle. Incompetent technicians and rude owner not willing to take any responsibility further than sending a replacement part for me to fit myself. Definitley avoid these guys. Photos posted.
