They offer a great service in a modern and well stocked clinic. All staff were caring and professional. Their attention to detail and little things like keeping us in the loop was appreciated. Definitely worth the cost and experience. See you again soon.

The nurse and reception staff were wonderful - thank you.
The vet we saw however was extremely rude and surly. While he treated our cat okay, he had no people skills, he seemed annoyed we were there at all and that our cat had soiled himself on arrival, barking orders at me to get paper towels and then telling me I'd jammed the paper towel system.
We had to endure his rudeness to get our cat seen, but he has put us off ever coming back.
I see reading previous comments that other people have experienced rudeness recently too. They will certainly lose business carrying on this way. A little kindness can go a long way - for pets AND owners.

* (old review) We have been going to Pet & Vet for 10 years now and no way are we going to change anytime soon.
(New review after it was sold to Animates with new staff) totally horrible! Unprofessional treatment of our then 14 years old dog in need of help. Given injection in the waiting area, did not even greet the dog (don't care if I'm greeted or not, as long as the animal is looked after and respected) before letting a very nervous trainee nurse (poor thing) inject him, both dog and girl were shaking afterwords. Have never come back after that.

Nice, friendly and very helpful staff. I had a few questions about my pet's treatments and was very happy to get help and advice from ladies at reception. Thanks heaps!

This is the only cattery I know of that has a vet and ask about the health and wellbeing of my dudes before checking them in. I can now travel with peace of mind knowing the demons are safe.

Receptionists are extremely rude and cold. My dog used to love going in, but now she is panic stricken! This relates to her grooming experiences.
The vets are lovely.
Please change your receptionists! The original ones were lovely, kind and caring.

Today I went to book our cat into cattery & shocked at the increase in price, booked him into a standard cage for 16days. I then received a call saying because our cat is aggressive he needs to be upgraded at the cost of $40 per day. After using regularly over the years we have never been told this before, we also use their vet. Sorry we won’t be returning as in the past we have had very caring people looking after Oscar.

Cattery Review ONLY

We arranged by email then phone as no response, for our Ragdoll Cat at the Cattery from Friday to Monday we were not advised about the cost increase, our cat is registered to this Vet. We were not advised that if we dropped our cat off 2-3 hours later we would not be charged an extra day. Previous booking Fri-Mon $87.50, this booking Fri 1 July -Mon 4 July $168? Our cat's food was forgotten and left at the cattery. The cost difference is ridiculous.

With that said the Vet has been excellent and two of the young men at the front desk are always consistently friendly.

I went in to purchase some flea treatment today for kittens. The cost was going to be $56. The exact same flea treatment from countdown supermarket was $32.50.
People, here is a prime example of the price gouging that is prevalent amongst vets. Don't support this chain of vets.the cost difference is criminal.
On a plus, the staff seemed nice

Sadly, this used to be one of the best vet clinics on the shore, however, the Vet-owner sold out to Vetcare and now it's just a money machine. They don't actually care about the animals, just about making money. All of the previous staff - who were wonderful, kind, knowledgeable and caring - have left. The new receptionists are rude and quite the opposite. If you have a question for a vet, well, you can't. Even if your dog is having a reaction to a vaccine, which my dog was. I was told by the rude young lady that it was impossible, that it couldn't be the vaccine. Really? If you want to speak to a vet, you have to book an appt which costs $80 for 15 minutes. No phone consultations. They rush you in and out. They don't really care to know you or your pets. After 11 years with this vet clinic, I'm moving my dogs to Forrest Hill Vet Clinic immediately.

Warning! Pet and Vet no longer have the same professional and skilled vets and vet nurses. I took my dog in because she had an upset stomach. My dog was hooked onto an IV drip, and my dog ended up with fluids in her lungs! My dog has no prior health condition, such as a heart condition that could facilitate this outcome. They don't deserve a single star rating; they are a bunch of clowns! Yet, their fees are sooooo expensive for poor, sub standard service! - I have now changed the vet clinic I take my dogs and cat to, and I should have done this sooner!
My dog's legs were covered in wounds from needle punctures!
I then had to take my dog to an emergency clinic to fix the trouble Pet and Vet had created!

Extremely expensive, rang before going in and was told one thing about my payments on the phone and another In person and when I couldn't pay the full.amount up front (even tho I rang to check this was ok) they threaten to hold my cat till I came back with the money. Price is also almost double anywhere else!

They offer great service, all staff were caring and doctors were professional. They pay attention to little things and called us to do a follow up making sure we were ok. Highly recommend, it is expensive but we are getting the best service. Worth it.

Beautifully presented clinic, staff go over and above to provide the best for your pets, personally my dog seems to love going there. The Hunter range is amazing too.

Great service. They have some great products for pets as well. Would suggest a visit just for the sake of shopping for your animal. Food toys etc.

Beautiful premises and very friendly staff. Helped my dog a lot in a very difficult moment. I find them very expensive, and in seeking second opinions from other vets have had my suspicions confirmed - they charge way more than other places, their acupuncture services being one of the highly inflated services at $150 an hour. With that said, I felt fully confident that my dog was in good hands granted you can afford them. I did have an issue with Nicole, one of the veterinarians. Even though she seemed very knowledgeable, her bedside manner left much to be desired. I found her very condescending, especially when misunderstanding was of her own doing. Her diagnosis of my dog's condition was dire if I didn't utilise more of their services. Her opinion was frowned upon by the other vet I sought a second opinion from. Quite frankly, I don't know at this point who's right. What I do know is that I have found another vet who offers the same services at a much reduced rate. I cannot fault Pet & Vet for charging what they do, they obviously have the gorgeous facilities and staff to make their facilities appealing.but it's not for me.
