Photo Warehouse reviews
68Amazingly quick delivery, with less than 24 hours from paying to having my order delivered. Great communication and a pleasure to do repeat business.
Great experience with friendly and helpful staff. Pictures came out wonderfully and was great value for money with a quick turnaround
Purchased a Tenba camera backpack from Photo Warehouse to take on a family holiday to Japan. Received great advice on which bag suited my needs (there was so much choice). A week into my trip I’m loving the bag - it’s so practical and comfortable. Thanks PW team
Advertises 12 Months Interest Free at the front door, yet did not let us proceed because an item “was hard to get”. Not sure if it was just the middle aged gentleman who served us or If there are terms like this. But if so please make it clear. Not a very great experience especially after being willing to pay a higher price compared to competitors.
We wanted to buy a camera before we went on safari-vacation to Africa. Our goal was to take some nice pictures of the animals, even in some distance. The sales person recommended us the perfect camera (Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ 300). The zoom is amazing, the pictures look awesome, and he didn't try to upsell us. We are gratefull, because the pictures we took made our vacation in Africa memorable and special. Highly recommend this store!
We had a roll of film processed last week.and wow what a horrible service and attitude. They delivered 4 ruined images out of the whole roll — with no communication and ownership that something went wrong with processing.
Never use these guys for your precious film! They'll destroy it. And won't care if they did either.
Our project is unrecoverable.and those memories are now lost.
Excellent and knowledgeable staff. There is a wide range of products at reasonable prices.
Usually this place is all good but I had a recent bad experience where I went in and was talking to a nice staff member, then one of the more senior staff butted in and tried explaining things to me himself. It was really unnecessary and also rude the way he talked to me, and when I got confused he just shook his head, smirked and walked away. Made me feel super uncomfortable and like he just thought I was stupid. Also need to sort out their issues with digital prints being sent through via Dropbox.
Been waiting for my film to be developed almost a month and a half. I understand the machine was broken, however there was poor communication of this and how long it would take. Have called up multiple times - on the first occasion was told I would get the film back in 1-2 days and didn’t receive anything. Called up again a week later just to be told that the guy had no idea how much longer I will have to wait. Do not recommend getting a film developed here unless you want to wait ages.
Dropped my film off Jan 2nd - got told it would be one weeks wait. After 2 weeks of waiting I got a text saying there would be some delays due to machine maintenance. Waited another 1-2 weeks and then called up on Friday 27th Jan. Got told my film was actually already processed but for some reason still hasn’t been sent - he let me know that it would be sent by that afternoon - didn’t get sent.
Couple days later I called up again and was told that there was trouble sending it to me and I had to come in on Tuesday to pick it up on USB. When I arrived on Tuesday they told me it wasn’t ready, so I left and went home only to get a text 20 mins later saying it was ready. I went back and picked it up at the shop, went home, only to find it was some old film of mine I had got previously developed last year. Now I have to call up yet again tomorrow to find out where my actual film is.
So sick of this, totally not worth coming here, have received no communication or clarity throughout this process even though I have had to call up 6 or 7 times now. Now I’m just hoping they haven’t lost my film. Still waiting a month later….
Excellent customer service.
Returned a product that was sub-par and they were more than happy to listen and exchange the product for something else.
Will be returning
These guys were amazing. Was greeted as soon as I walked in the door & told will be with you in a minute. Service was great. A very seamless transaction from start to finish.
Highly recommend if your after your next camera.
Bought a canon wireless remote just now (BR-ER1) went super quick, didnt take receipt, simply arrived and, when I opened the nox the item isn’t inside the bubble wrap, the shutter doesnt have the plastic sticker, the item is full of dust which obviously suggest it’s a used one and it’s not brand new, and their price is 15% higher than other store, it’s disappointing!
Done visa and passport photos at Photo Warehouse, in two separate occasions. The quality of tools used to take photos is good, and the system used to upload digital photos is very convenient. However, the staff has a lack of customer skills. On first visit, the guy who took photos was rushing us and was quite nervous. I hoped it was one off experienceand decided to go there again. On the second occasion, the lights used to light a person face is very intense, especially for someone wearing glasses. When asked to slightly dim the lights, the person (different from the first time) taking our photos was unreasonably annoyed and tried rushing us. I guess the staff needs to be trained and instructed about how to reply and deal with customers.
The staff were unfriendly, unkind and unwelcoming. Did not respect my legitimate mask exemption. Very dissapointing
The staff was very friendly however the service was poor. I brought my disposable camera in for developing and when i came to get my photos after I paid for them to be developed printed and scanned they only gave me back the negatives. They told me they forgot to print them out and I had to come back on Monday. I came back on Monday and they had also forgotten to email me the scanned photos. I will have to come back in a third time later to pick the negatives back up after they scan them and that it will unfortunately probably be the last time I visit the store.
Nice enough, went to get film developed, one staff member was standoffish and rude.
Got the film developed and left.
Will probably go elsewhere in the future.
Anything photography related that has a reasonable price attached to it I only get from Photo Warehouse, my last purchase being the fantastic Fujifilm XT-4, you may find cheaper around but I don't think it's worth the risk.
These guys stand by their products, have staff that know their stuff and pretty much anything you need will be in stock or is pretty easy for them to source.
I was able to have my old film be developed at Greylynn's Photo Warehouse. I have to find the place and walked from Greylynn shops for about 12 minutes to finally found the place.
Excellent service by some very knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended if you need any photographic needs from basic to professional needs…
