Physio Connect Albany

I went to PhysioConnect Albany for a sore back and neck and Liam took me through all my physio treatments. He was very professional and good at what he does. His treatment and advice helped me return to work and other activities quite soon and gave me the confidence to continue reconditioning my body to prevent future injuries. Thumbs up all round for his brilliant service

Saw Liam and Jinal for an ankle injury I picked up playing football, both were outstanding, very helpful, knowledgeable and passionate about their jobs. Whilst I would prefer not to get injured again if I do they will be the first people I call and I know I will be in safe hands.

Liam is a great therapist. Very professional and knowledgeable, he helped me understand my knee injury and what was required to get me back to doing what I enjoy.

I had a back-pain issue and completed series of rehab visits with Liam and Sophia which led to a full recovery from the injury. I must say Liam and Sophia are one of the best people in their fields and they treat their patients really well. Happy with Physio Connect, Albany.

A couple of months ago, I injured my back. I went to Physio Connect to see Sophia who can speak English, Mandarin and Korean. She studied traditional Chinese medicine and She is an acupuncturist. She gave me acupuncture and cupping theray. Those treatments were gentle, painless, relaxing and effective. Thank Sophia for all her help.

PhysioConnect Albany is great! The pace, exercises, and instructions were all easy to follow. Would very much recommend!

I am a 65 year old lady who had an accident while hiking on the South Island. I broke my ankle, was in a cast for many months followed by having to wear a moon boot. I was referred to Physio at this stage and treated by Liam. He is professional, friendly and consistent in his approach. He was a pleasure to work with and his treatment definitely assisted in my recovery. I highly recommend him and personally thank him for all his help and drive.

Easy to book appointments, staff is knowledgeable and take time to identify the source of the injury before defining what's the best treatment. The place is tidy and clean.

To My Acupuncturist “Sophia Soh”:
I came to “Sophia Soh” with a leg injury that I developed while working. I was new to acupuncture and Sophia instantly put me at ease. It seems to me that successful treatment is pretty dependent on good rapport and communication with your acupuncturist, and Sophia excels in this regard. After 6 treatments, my leg is now pain-free. In addition to providing great treatments, she also had several other strategies to help me stay healthy and injury-free long-term. I liked her holistic approach.

Definitely recommended her for Acupuncture.

I just my knee recently and decided to go to physio connect, the best decision so far that I've made. My physiotherapist Liam has been treating me and he is extremely professional, patient & knowledgeable. The team there is super down to earth and I don't feel uncomfortable at all like at other physios. Liam has been super great wih helping me get back on my feet.

Cool people with professional attitude. They helped me a lot for my recovery. Liam is really kind to provide useful advice and keen to know what is my difficulty. Injury and recovery can be very stressful when you are on your own but they give you a good idea about how you got hurt and how you can get better. Highly recommended for everyone.

I am writing this review as I had a bad foot pain and was referred to the acupuncturist at the Albany clinic. Sophia has a great Patient manner and I always looked forward to my appointment. She certainly fixed the pain I was having in my foot and for this I am very grateful. Her attentiveness in placing the needles was painless and it certainly achieved my problem. I highly recommend her skill and kindness. 5 stars for you Sophia

My mum had injured with her arm and she got treatment with Liam and acupuncture with Sophia.
Both of them are very patient.

Back problem, caused by over reaching, was almost totally restricting - could not even put my socks on.
The treatment that Liam Wong gave me, together with his exercise programme, has been 100% successful and I am now free from pain and have achieved total mobility.

I had surgery on my ankle end of August 2020. I started physio 6 weeks later with Liam. Yesterday was my last appointment and it was sad as it was such an special experience going to see Liam every week for the past 6 months. Liam is very professional but yet very caring and pay attention to what I said. He helped me gain my strength back in my ankle to such an extent that it feels stronger than my other ankle. Injured my back pretty badly and sought help from Physio Connect. I was helped by two of their therapists (Jordan and Liam) who were both excellent. Liam helped me a lot with getting my back better and offering a lot of very good and useful advice that I will definitely use from now, at home and at the gym. If you have a muscle injury I would highly recommend this Physio clinic. A+.

Months ago I had a problem with my left knee, I could not bend down, a lot of pain daily, one day I made the decision to consult physioconnect Albany it was my best decision. After sustaining a muscle strain in my calf I turned to Physio Connect and they have been a great help in getting me back on the road. In particular, I would like to mention Liam for his patience in listening to the symptoms and then devising a treatment plan which has worked a treat. In addition, I had acupuncture treatment from Sophia who was able to target the affected area effectively. Her expert placing of the needles made a real difference and now I am able to do my favourite activities again. Thank you very much.

Months ago, I dislocate my left shoulder Yeah again! I could not do anything, a lot of pain daily can’t sleep or do my daily activities, I got ACC reference to consult physiotherapy. After some search I consult physioconnect Albany it was my best decision. Liam Wong was the person who was with me throughout my treatment, he is very professional in what he does. After 06 section he gifted me a pain free shoulder I am without any pain now and back to sport. I asked him to give me a pain free shoulder now he is giving me bullet proof shoulder (No more dislocations in future). I would recommend him to any one as highly professional and best at his job.
