Physio Connect Wairau - North Shore Physiotherapy

DO NOT book with Arisa Guenther! For the times I have wasted my ACC appointments on her, she is either rude, in a bad mood, or complaining about not wanting to work. I had been sent home multiple sessions without receiving proper help while she tried to made the appointment seemed longer with pointless chitchat. I don’t believe she is a qualified physiotherapist as she had made my injury much worse. Good that I had switched therapist while I still had some ACC sessions left, whom actually made my injury better.

I had Mercy and Eimear for my physio and they are amazing. So great to work with and made the sessions really clear. I have gotten so much better thanks to them, they are great to work with and really go the extra mile for you.

I’m so glad I got to meet Mercy and Phoebe who helped me treat my sprained ankle. I followed Mercy to Wairau PhysioConnect when my ankle had limited range of motion and lack of strength from limping around. Mercy and Phoebe were very friendly and offered all options suited for my ability to help me recover. Thanks to Mercy and Phoebe my ankle came back right and I had no trouble wearing heels for a friend’s wedding day Thank you!

I have been seeing Mercy from May 2021 for rupture of the Achilles tendon. I started at Milford branch now Wairua. Every week's session is fun and effective for my injury. She chooses the exercises suit me the most and push me hard to improve, I can see myself getting better week by week. Thank you Mercy for your dedicated hard work!

Maisie has been looking after both me and my wife, both of us with shoulder injuries. She has been very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Our recoveries are coming along nicely. We highly recommend anyone looking at some Physio, to give Maisie a call.

I started seeing Mercy at the Milford PhysioConnect branch from the onset of my injury in April and have continued seeing her now she is at the Wairau branch. When I began treatment, my ankle was about three times the size it was supposed to be and I had damaged almost every single ligament (my big toe was fine!).

Mercy has helped me return to the things I love to do, like rock climbing, and also just being able to stand on both my feet (which I couldn't do because of how badly I injured my ankle, oops). I felt very assisted the entire time under her treatment and found that she was effective in letting me know what I needed whilst also listening to what I wanted in my recovery.

Maisie is a fantastic physiotherapist. She really got into the root of the problem and suggested large variety of ways/tools to improve my health. I highly recommend her services. She is professional, easy to communicate with and very patient-focussed. If (when) I get injured again, I know who to call to get me back up and running!

After a car accident where I hurt my shoulder I was treated by Maisie from Physio Connect Wairau.

About 7 weeks ago I had an impactful accident that required professional physiotherapy. A friend has referred me to Ashley at Physio Connect. I've been seeing her for a few weeks now and every time I feel welcome and well taken care of. Ashley is a fantastic physio therapist, she gave me plenty of advise and does a great job with helping me to recover. She knows what she is doing. The Wairau team is experienced, professional and always greet me with a smile.

James Bickerton has demonstrated exceptional professionalism and skill in the management of my shoulder condition. He has aided me in the successful, and complete rehab of my shoulder injury, which would have otherwise required me to have surgery. Great Physiotherapy experience!

I've been seeing Ciara for rehabilitation on my ankle for about 15 weeks. I originally brushed the injury off at first thinking it was fine before finding out that it was almost a full rupture of my ligaments.

Without Ciara's help, I don't think I would've had the slightest clue as to how my body was reacting in terms of healing as well as not knowing how to rehab it properly. She's very helpful at explaining in depth and will answer pretty much any question you have.
