39Great service but very expensive. Was hoping to use as my regular service agent but need to shop around now.
I called Pit Stop Albany 10: 30am 2/07/2023 to confirm if they were busy and I was able to bring my car in for servicing at 12pm, the responder confirms "yes, no problem bring it in. " I arrive and I am told they are too busy and I am welcome to leave my vehicle with them. The wasted time getting to the establishment, including petrol consumption was enough for me to place this review.
Super fast sorting for my exhaust. Great communication and awesome staff. Would highly recommend

AJ and his team are honest people, they are friendly and helpful. Have seen too many ripped off garages in Auckland, they can claimed how 'professional' they are but when you send your car to them that is another story. AJ Pit Stop is the only garage I trust so far. I had both European and Japanese cars service by AJ and team, very happy with the service. AJ Pit Stop is the local business that worth every support. Keep up the honest work AJ.
Once are got a car repaired at pitstop. Great service no worries about being ripped off. Will 100% go to them next time. Thanks guys
I called by phone first then called in early with an exhaust rattle. The guys put the car up on a ramp straight away and fixed a loose heat shield which solved the problem. They didn't even charge me for this! Brilliant service and fast, friendly and efficient work - fully recommend to all. Rare to receive such great Customer service these days.
Stopped in to ask how much it would cost to replace my indicator lens. A young worker done it 5 minutes for free!
Such a friendly peoples, I asked to check my exhaust and came back nothing wrong, but the guy is still very friendly and helpful. I really do appreciate the time and effort! Pit Stop have and will always be my first choice in the future!
On two seperate recent occasions Pit Stop Albany have replaced suspension parts on my Commodore Sportwagon. The second of which they had to find the cause of a new clunking noise (sway bar links) with excellent results.

Chatted with AJ for a while about exhaust options for my BMW 135i, super friendly guy, walked me through suggestions and recommendations and then got me in really quick to get the work done. Both himself and the technician that did the exhaust itself were friendly and skilled. Couldn't recommend Pit Stop Albany enough.
On visiting i was told $350-400 which I thought was expensive to fix my exhaust but i was keen to support local traders as i work very close by, when i returned to pick up my vehicle i had an invoice for nearly $470. Be careful when visiting pitstop
They did an amazing job wofing my vehicle, they are very polite and I'd 100% come back for another wof when needed or servicing.
Excellent turn around time and great customer service. Price was really reasonable and it's super handy to have service, repairs and WOF all done in one place and at the same time. Will happily recommend and be sure to use them as my go to mechanics for anything in the future. Couldn't say a proper thanks in person because of Level 3 restrictions but thank you team, really appreciate it!
