Unfortunately my order slipped through a Crack and was not processed. I thought click & collect would be less waiting for me at the counter and easier for placemakers. I'm just annoyed. No car during the week and my project is half on hold.grrrrr

Awesome customer service, Great staff, very helpful.
The female staff working in the yard even offered us a cup of tea, coffee or hot chicken soup.
Even there rep stocking up his selves was very helpful.

I checked your opening hours and it says Open Sunday. Drive all the way out there only to find it closed. Not impressed, I have more important things to do than waste my time travelling that far because someone can’t get your information correct

Your local neighborhood DIY, friendly and helpful staff. The store is a little small but it more than make up for it with the service.

I came into Placemakers Pakuranga today and walked up to the sales counter and asked the sales person, Do you have any fluorescent starters? " Yes we do, they are down that aisle over there, I will show you, follow me". I got exactly what I was looking for. I went back to the counter and paid for them. It's so nice to go into a store and find a sales person who knows the products he is selling. Prior to this I had been to two Bunnings outlets and the staff there didn't know, or have any glue what I was talking about.

I needed some Gib and was not sure how I was going to get it home as my van is small and so am I - didn’t need to worry - the store men were so helpful - hooked up a loan trailer, loaded the Gib and covered with plastic as it was starting to rain - top rated service and very much appreciated.

A great hardware store better suited to the serious DYI or professional trades person.

Staff here are great. Good product range and not as busy/crazy as bunnings. They don't open Sundays though, which is a problem for weekend DIYers.

Very limited product range and you pay more here for the same product.price shown on shelf are different to their system, asked after I paid as wasn't paying attention at the time when using pay wav.the lady jumped up and down about why I did not ask earlier and now she has to do all the paperworks (w.t. F?) to process the refund. First time and the last time coming here for us, bye bye!

Look out the prices do not include GST.
So prices look OK till you get to the counter to pay. Very disappointing

Never seem to get what I need here anymore. Seem to have reduced range. Dont know why I still bother other than closest hardware store to me.

This is pretty much my second home, covid has limited some supplies but otherwise the staff are great people to deal with.

Very helpful staff in building materials. Most of their business seems to be industrial rather than DIY.

Not impressed one staff member was mildly interested in helping, most were goofing off. Excessivly overpriced compared to other shops.
I can't think of any reason that would compell me to return here.

Getting very difficult to find what you want supplies are getting low timber yard out of stock shelves empty hopefully they can replenish there stock very soon.
