Ho hum. 1st they got no timber, then it cost more than gold and now you can't cut da timber. Ps. Take a lunch while you wait for service

This place sucked out what little I had left of a soul and left me empty.coming here reminds me of the scene in world war z where they have to sneak into the lab and get the viles of pathogens, the speed and enthusiasm of the staff are on par with the zombie scientists in that lab.

Quite a small Placemakera and not many items on display, though it says that it is in stock and on display here.

Great place for builders, find a good rep and you will be taken care of. They work hard to find materials even in these difficult times.

Was very impressed with the way Ms Lahari from the Kitchen & Bathroom department dealt with my query regarding choosing a sink with the right dimensions to fit the cabinet. She was extremely patient and willing to explain things in detail. Great experience. Thank you Ms Lahari.

I went here today and I waited 10 to 15 minutes to get let out where there was other car getting let out more then me

Mostly I have found them very helpful. They helped getting a pallet of gib down from the top of the rack and brought it to the trailer so the sheets could be slid of straight onto it, then picked the other pallet of gib off the floor (different size) so they (12 sheets) could be easily loaded. The Chinese guy I find very easy to deal with. The prices aren't bad either.

Pretty good in the Covid context.long wait for click n collect (fair enough) but took ages for folks to find what had been ordered.hence 4 out of 5 stars

Again reminded of why I never shop here. Service was good (this time) but trolleys in the exit, so you come in, have to exit and re-enter with your trolley. Charged above RRP for the item I needed, like wow poor form. No wonder we go to mitre10 or Bunnings.

First time in the yard and Zac approached to help me. He was very friendly and helpful. Please commend him for me.

I've been going here for years and it is one thing a place for the trades when you want materials for a job go here all the advice from friendly staff that know what you want most of the trades know already what they want and are experienced any way it's well set out and the staff are friendly and helpful so if you are looking to build and want good service this is the place for you

Service and communication was non-existant.only bright spot in the process was the dilivery drivers abilities. Bunnings will see me more.

Phenomenal experience buying paint here. Very knowledgeable staff member (department manager?) who went out of his way to ensure that I got what I needed & that I understood everything I needed to know about it. Confident I bought the right product at a really good price.

A fabulous hardware store. Huge range of timber, fasteners, building products. Great drive through with knowledgeable and helpful staff. One of the best in my opinion.

Was at new Lynn branch.service sloppy and took far too long. A branch day at Wairau branch would help your efficiency.
