The Dosa masala is very very good.
Authentic north Indian curry.

FOH is bad, interior decor is bad, but if you can get past that it's a decent restaurant and I'd definately come again.

Worst experience ever. Poor management. We have ordered kaju paneer masala, they just gave paneer masala with tomato paste. The receptionist took the gravy to check but gave the same bowl back saying the chef forgot to add kaju, didn't even bother to add some extra kaju, forget making a new one. We ordered the plan roti specifically mentioning no butter / oil, but they gave us butter roti again. Afte sending it back the receptionist was giving silly reason like " I said no butter to the chef that's why he added oil", also asked if anyone else would like to have the same one from the reception didn't even bother to finish the conversation at the table. The lady just walked out and now there is no one to serve the customers. We waited for more than 30 mins just to pay for the food. No wonder they had any customers except for us!

A friend of mine who likes beer suggested this place. We had a terrible experience all round. The reviews seem to be based on times past.

Given their website has been suspended and is not secure this probably tells you they are just waiting to run their stock down to get out of business.

The place is filthy, the windows are grubby, the menu was sticky and dirty. The beer fridges were barely stocked with a choice of beer. The wine selection was pathetic, in fact they dont even have a wine menu, you have to bend down to see open bottles and you wonder how long they have sat there. What I really wanted was a gin and tonic but they didnt have any lemon, in fact he wasn't even sure he had gin. So why advertise it as a place to drink if your not stocked. Even my friend who loves his beer and chose the place because of it was disappointed in the stock levels.

Now we come to the food. It has to be the worst butter chicken I have ever eaten, so little meat, and the sauce was just bland as can be. If you cant get that right its a fail. We ordered a butter nan and got a roti instead. The starter was okay but hey, I wouldnt return to eat that either.

The atmosphere is just terrible, no one else was in the place, another indication of how bad it is; I sat there wanting to go up the road to another place I know is great. There are so many beer cans hanging on the wall and down from the ceiling as if this is a signal of how great they are, its not great. Its bloody awful and if your thinking of coming here, save your money and the experiment, go to another Indian place.

I would give minus 1 star if I could. This place needs to close down.

Excellent food and drinks. Good service. Great ambience. Plenty of parking in the area. Very enjoyable.

Had my husband's 50th birthday party. Everyone who came in enjoyed yummy food, excellent service and good atmosphere. Highly recommend PLAN B Restaurant!

Great food. We are regulars here and almost all food items we have tried here are delicious. Our favourites are chicken pepper fry, both fish dishes, fried rice, plan b chicken, dahi puri and the list goes on… you won’t regret the

Butter chicken and Rotis - 5 star for sure.
Taking out one because of the veg manchurian will give 3 for that.

Overall ambiance wise good.
Will go again for few other dishes.

Really good food. Loved the Plan B chicken and Southern style chicken. Good service as well.

Ordered Hyderabad fried chicken, pepper chicken and chicken chettinad (made on request). Great authentic taste, good portion and very kind & humble staff. I have been a regular there in past couple of weeks and never been disappointed.:)

Great food, lamb snack is the best and full of flavour! The only feedback I have is if you have a birthday, make sure they change the Playlist once the birthday songs are over. We sat through at least 30mins of birthday music and children's nursery rhymes, on repeat.

If your gonna pick between this place or the place next door. Pick this one, made the mistake of going next door once. Wanted something fresh you know, salads or whatever. I can't leave a review for next door. But honestly, id be embarrassed to serve food like that and get reviews too. Havnt tired this place yet but when I went in it smelled great and the server had excellent service for the 2 mins I was there. Next door also has good service but honestly, terrible food

Outstanding food, amazing flavours, good portions, great range of beers, cocktail and wine.

Starters are amazing, mains no that good. Gave us frozen pranthas and rotis. It was not mentioned in menu.

I ordered Hyderabadi chicken dum biriyani and cocktail samosas for dinner.
The Biriyani came with raita while the samosa came with a dark dip that went well with it.
Taste was great! Good amount of chicken inside it though a bit too oily.
Samosa was great too, packed with potatoes and peas and other vegetables which went well with the biriyani.
Came well packaged.
Good portion sizes, will fill you up.
Price was reasonable considering portion size.
Student budget friendly for some popular dishes!

We been for first time, food was amazing and the plan b chicken dish is exceptional, the staff are really doing as much as to keep the service at its best hopefully this place would be the top soon

They let us have a drink pretty late, that's an extra plus in Auckland. Extensive selection of beers and a chill place to have a beer.

We were the only group in this restaurant at 9pm on a Saturday yet had to wait one and a half hours for butter chicken. Would not recommend.

Went here after hearing some good reviews. Food quantity is very small. Taste was ok, not great. Found a piece of plastic in the sambar! So will not go again.
