Took my car here for a service back in Nov 2021. Shane seemed like a pretty good guy & straight forward with everything as well! I asked him what my car needed and he quoted me around $950 in work, to which may have been my mistake because I didn’t know any better shrugged it off and said okay, let’s do it. However about a month later, my car started to play up. Took it back to Shane and although he tried his best, car still persisted with the issue. At the time, I may not have looked it but I was actually pretty guttered because essentially I had to get the car scrapped and picked up from his lott. I can’t help but think that that car may have still lived if I didn’t go through with the 950$ work, that was advised. Overall, Shane seems like a good chap but I think from all the time that’s passed on til now, (you can tell I still think about it) I feel like I got the short end of the stick. So take this how you will.

We needed a quick repair of a cam shaft sensor. As other reviews state, he got right onto it, advised parts prices and got it done. Other firms nearby were either unable to do it as they didn't have the expertise, or simply showed little interest in doing it. Shane is awesome and I'm writing this before knowing the total bill.

Thank You so much to Shane at Platinum Automotive. He sorted out my 1999 UK rover mini after it came into the country, seeing it thru the minefield of compliance and also sorted the engine problem it arrived with.

Epic service by Shane himself. Very happy with the end result of my car. Very well priced too. Had a mini barely driveable, left it with the man for 2 weeks, drove it away like a new car with more power. Highly recommended.
