I have been through many recruiters but Muy hands down has been the best one so far. From the start, she was very responsive and empathetic, which is something I find lacking in other recruiters. Her genuine care and understanding made me feel at ease and showed me that she really valued her candidates. All through the process she's kept me updated and in the loop. So I never really had to chase up. Definitely recommend Muy if you want a personalised recruitment experience.

Dealt with them a couple of years back. Among the worst recruiters I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. However to be fair the recruitment agent I dealt with has since moved on. Potentia must share some of the blame though because they hired him, also their systems and processes were very subpar as well. If they can't even do a good job hiring for their own company, it doesn't bode well when they are trying to hire for your company.

Even though I have extensive qualifications and experience in the IT field, the agent spent most of the time insulting my qualifications and experience. Not to mention his extreme arrogance. I don't know why he even brought me in for an interview if he thought my CV was that bad.

Since that time whenever I have contracted at organizations I've recommended them not to deal with Potentia based on my honestly held opinion that they just aren't very professional.

Be warned that some of the 5 star reviews are from past or present employees.

I strongly recommend people use a range of recruiters and don't put much faith in the honesty or integrity of the industry. Also be careful about what information you share with recruiters such as salary information, better to just make something up. One last thing is recruiters often advertise 'fake' jobs to prescreen candidates and build their database. Just because you are asked in for an interview, don't think you are in the running for an actual job. These days I have such an extensive network of my own contacts thankfully I no longer use recruiters.

Absolutely atrocious customer service and account management. This is possibly the worst recruitment agency is Auckland based around their (lack of) ability to communicate with candidates, the haphazard way that they deal with people leads to a sense that this organisation really cares very little for the people they want to backfill positions. In other words if you want be treated like a part of a herd of cattle rather than a human being, I would recommend using them. Unfortunately quite of lot of tech jobs go through these bunch of charlatans and they are gatekeepers to a lot of jobs in tech. They are completely unprofessional.
