We've just accomplished a major achievement by purchasing our very first house! It's undoubtedly a significant milestone for us. The real estate agent we worked with was professional and efficient, though a bit distant. While the overall buying process went smoothly, we found ourselves responsible for tasks that other agents often assist with, such as arranging a LIM and inspection. However, there's one aspect that left us feeling disappointed – when we received the keys, there was no gesture of congratulations, like a note, a bottle of wine, a photograph, or anything of the sort. It's worth noting that acquaintances of ours who've also purchased homes received cards, baskets, or wine as a celebratory gift. For us, it's not about the material item itself, but rather the sentiment behind it.
