Purrs & Beans NZ reviews
54Loved this so much. The cats were so friendly. The drinks were great. And most importantly the cats were cared for and clearly so so loved and also there was always staff present to tell you about the cats and ensure their safety. Loved it highly recommend!
Visited this place this morning and it was amazing, the staffs were spectacular in their service. And the cats were adorable, sociable, sleepy and very friendly. Highly recommend
Such an awesome place! Lovely staff who really care for the cats who are all so cute and happy:) I can't wait to come back!
Oh my god honestly the most amazing place on the planet.you can grap a coffee and chill with all their rescue cats (who are adorable and very friendly) and buy some cute cat badges or masks at the end of your visit. One of my favourite places to visit.
My partner and I really enjoyed our visit to Purrs & Beans NZ. The set up they have is fantastic and very homely. The cats have access to a large secured catio (outdoor area) and lots of stimulating toys and cat tress to climb on. I especially love their focus on senior cats because senior animals can at times get overlooked compared to a kitten. They have a separated section for their adoption area which gives people a chance to meet some kitties available for adoption. Each cat in the residents area have their story and picture on presentation in the hallway for you to read. They also have booklets with the same information in each room. All of the cats were very healthy and well looked after. Some even happy to come sit on your lap for a while and chill with you. Overall, I highly recommend this place for some relaxing cat time and a nice coffee.
Very friendly staff. Great place.
Hard to believe the cat in the video (Gigi) has only three legs.
Recommended this place by a friend. But disappointed because purr&beans did not get back to our message or refund us in the event of flooding/state of emergency where we were unable to make it and contract was deemed frustrated. However we were still charged for no show: (
Absolutely wonderful cat cafe. The cats are so obviously well cared for and protected. We had a lovely time.
3rd time going and it's lovely to see the new area as the cats have more room now it's great! Super friendly staff and the cats are so adorable!
Hadn't made a review yet but thought I should. I’ve been following along this place since they were in Britomart 2017 and they are just amazing. The cats are so cute with different personalities and they are so well looked after even with complex needs. The staff love what they do, they care so much about the cats, and it doesn’t feel so commercial as the other cat cafes do. (bonus points for the kitten room & RIP Wednesday <3)
Lovely place to enjoy spending quality time with a lot of cats ;) My kids and I loved it. Thanks for the experience.
Love this place and all the cats in it. Relaxed and friendly, cool staff and well set out.
Beautiful kitties, friendly staff, great coffee - I wish the sessions were longer, but I think overall it's worth the price! Would definitey recommend this place:)
Came up from Wellington to go here and I must say that this has been the best part of my trip so far! The coffee and food was lovely, the staff members were so nice, and the cats were so adorable! Would highly recommend stopping by here if you're in Auckland and a cat lover?
The cats were all amazing and the coffee was fine, however it does not feel like you can be with the cats alone for no longer than a minute. The staff always appear out of no where, watching you. It made me feel uncomfortable and as if the cats were made of glass. It felt more stressful than relaxing.
What a wonderful place to relax for an hour! Lots of gorgeous cats and kittens very soothing and we're going back for movie night. Lots more snuggles
Very bad no kids under 10 years old, and if you show up with you kids under 10 years they not let you in and they don't refund your money back even half of it.
It's a lovely place! I visited with my boyfriend last Friday for the Board Games Night event. There was good coffee, a friendly and caring staff and cats all over the place. Guaranteed enjoyment! The space is designed for the comfort of the cats and if you know how to earn their trust, you can enjoy the pleasure of playing with them
Home of the loveliest cats and kittens to cuddle with, the staff are super lovely and knowledgeable. Just make sure you follow the rules for the cat's safety and you'll have a lovely time. Haven't had their coffee before, just gone for a visit, they also have really cool merch available - masks, shirts, badges and info booklets
Wonderful place I would recommend to any of my cat lover friends. Can't comment on the cafe side of things as it doesn't run during red light COVID settings. However, it was still lovely to play with the resident cats for an hour, all of whom have some sort of disability. There were people turning up who clearly had visited heaps and knew all the cats names, therefore I think it's a great place for those who would love a pet in their life that can nessicarly have one. There is also an adoption area with kittens which you get ten minutes in. Would recommend going in the morning rather than afternoon for cats to be more active.
