QB Electrical

I would highly recommend using this company QB Electrical. I just recently utilized the services of QB Electrical to have a heat pump installed at my home under the EECA Warmer Kiwi Homes programme. Mike was very knowledgeable, informative and answered all my questions over the telephone and this continued when he visited my property to do the assessment and quote, he was professional and friendly to deal with. I decided on a Daikin Heat Pump. From the time of the assessment to having the heat pump installed was very quickly organised, which I was very happy with as I wanted it to be installed before Xmas. On install day, Mike and his colleague Jed arrived exactly on time, very impressive given Auckland traffic can be unpredictable and diabolical. Their workmanship was precise, tidy and thoroughly thought out with the end product looking really good, if not better than what I was expecting, from the unit on the wall positioned perfectly and the piping on the other side. I thought Jed did an amazing job too, he finished the install solo, he was very precise with measurements and levelling and I can see he has such a promising career ahead of him and I’m sure he is an asset to QB Electrical. At the end of the install, they use their own vacuum cleaner to suck up the wall dust / debris etc and then they give you a little intro training session on how to use the new heat pump. Well done QB Electrical and I love my new heat pump, thanks.

I am very happy to be writing this unsolicited review for work just completed by QB Electrical. They did a wonderful, trouble-free job of installing our new AP71 heat pump and it is working perfectly. I had done a lot of research into the best heat pump option for our living room and Mike immediately impressed me with his knowledge level and pragmatic advice. He was unfailingly polite and professional and I immediately sensed that he would be reliable and do a good job. When his quote came in, he was significantly cheaper than the other 2 Companies. In addition, he came up with a simple and quick solution for raising the external heat pump unit well above any possible surface water – come the next cyclone! I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending him and his Company, should you be looking to install a new heat pump. I need to add that Mike’s co-worker, Jed, was very focused and professional throughout, impressing me with his maturity, skill level and work ethic.

Mike came and gave us a Quote and good advice, i was impressed with his professionalism and accepted his Quote.
A few Days later he turned up to fit it as he suggested. This time with Young Jed his apprentice. Jed was left to do the job. He put down sheets to protect my home and proceeded to do the job. My husband a retired electrical engineer has advised me, he had all the correct equipment and best tools and his workmanship was first class.
Before leaving Jed cleaned up and left the place as he had found it.

We would highly recommend this Company and its staff. The electrical trade is in safe hands with young men like Jed coming through. He will go far.

Jed did such an amazing job yesterday he was really tidy and worked 6hours straight no mucking around and the end was result was just 10/10 for us. Highly recommend this company. Went through warmer kiwi homes had 3 companies to choose from and I'm so glad I went with these guys.

Excellent service from QB. Jack's communication was spot on, they arrived on-time and the installation was finished to a high standard.

We were very happy to choose QB electrical for a heat pump supply and installation. The company well exceeded our expectations. Mike and Jack were very professional, knowledgeable and did fast delivery and super tidy work. Communication was great during the installation from both Jack and Mike although initial response from Jack was a wee slow but it was due to their busy time and fixed very quickly. We highly recommend QB electrical and definitely call them again in the future if we need any electrical work to be done by a professorial company and excellent service.

Mike was so friendly and professional from the first moment we spoke on the phone and in person. I’m so glad I choose his company for my heat pump and installation. He explained everything about the process to me and clearly helped me pick out the best brand and even better offered me the most reasonable quote. The work was done on time with no fuss no mess and I’m now sitting at home with my fantastic heat pump on warming my home.

Highly recommend. Easy to deal with, fast efficient friendly service. Took all rubbish and old broken heat pump away (saved me the hassle of dumping it) Felt comfortable leaving them to do their job and locking up afterward. Cheers guys. Excellent customer service

Very pleasant to have QB electrical to help us install the heat pump. They are profession, excellent customer service with good price. Recommend! We will definatly choose them again in the future if we need install the more heat pumps!

He was thorough in assessing and explaining all aspects of the job, and explored install options that others ignored.
