Queens Arcade reviews
46Toilets both male and female were disgusting and filthy - the worst public toilets we have seen in NZ. Told 2 staff members of two businesses who were totally disinterested.
Love the nostalgia of going here. Stopped here to go to Marbecs records. Excellent range of music.
Cute shops, nice to walk through and spend time in. One of the only arcades with a public restroom: on the second floor.
Unfortunately due to the road works that have gone on and the removal of the bus terminal, a lot of the businesses that were once here have all closed but it was pleasing to find that Marbeks were still there. It seems that this is indicative of a lot of the arcades and some of the shops in Queen Street.
I go though this place every now and again because i go into (Marbeats) plus it's a shortcut to (kiwi bank) and (countdown that's on 76 Quay Street) Past (Auckland Chief Post Office) AKA (Britomart Train station)
Almost hidden little arcade with some great specialty retailers such as King of Cards (board games / cards) and of course Marbecks Records (spent alot of time & money here over the years).
Not immune to pressures on retail, last month the empty stores have been given a fresh coat of paint and now opened as mini art galleries
Classic Mall, still immaculate after all these years. Nice clean toilets upstairs. Such a wide variety of shops including jewellers, king of cards games, kitchen shop, record shop, optometrist, the list goes on ….
Very Good massage center on first floor, Good Davenport chocolate Good coffee ️ and optometrist phone repairs etc very clean and nice

What a beautiful day walking around Queen Arcade, But every SAD to see Lots of the shops empty, times have changed because of high rents and covid, but hopefully with time some might be able to come back.
It's a sad shell of itself and it's not all on COVID either. About a dozen empty shops now and not surprising when you look at Queen St. The Mayor has truly messed things up and turned the CBD into a dark claustrophobic shell of it's former glory. Hopefully the next mayor brings it back to life and places like Queens Arcade can come back to life again.
I love this Arcade, so sad a lot of shops empty, love the decor here, reminds me of a little village shopping centre
This Arcade is full of amazing memories from my childhood. My love of Classical music stems from this arcade. It's full of amazing shops that will satisfy most people, from a Cafe, Hats, Glasses, Chocolates, Music, even house and kitchen knick knacks. Worth a visit, short stroll from Commercial Bay.
Just spotted a bar and restaurant on the top level of Queens Arcade facing the main Street looks like little Italy tucked away waiting to be discovered
Love this Arcade. It always has a sense of class. I visited the wool shop and the owner couldn't have been nicer. Then we had lunch at Neo's and the lady who seated us was kind enough to even ask if we would like a blanket as it was cold on the balcony.
The shops here are awesome and if you are at the bottom of town I'd strongly suggest you give Queens Arcade a few minutes to explore.
A nice shopping mall that just recently renovated. It's now much brighter, more inviting, and looks much less dodgy that it used to be; especially with the addition of the fountain tucked in the middle of the mall. Most of the shops are new, and only a few of the shops prior to the renovation that stays. The restaurant upstairs is still there.
Queens arcade is trip down memory lane. Remnants of style that Auckland had in spades. Ripped asunder by councils of yore. Step into Queens Arcade and escape to a bygone world. It's fabulous with the headline act Neo cafe on the 2 nd floor. One of the best darn cafes in the country.
A great collection of shops in this arcade. Frontline, Marbecks, Devonport Chocolates, Apple Tree Kitchen, Nua Cafe and Restaurant, wonderful
Went to the Devonport Chocolate shop. Nice small compact shop with good variety of confection. Lean and friendly staff.
It was fine. I go to the fabric and wool shop there. Nice friendly helpful staff and good selection of yarns
Great shops - Frontline I love the clothes, best hairdresser, thanks Kay, excellent cafè Neo. Really nice shops, super clean.
