Quest Albany

Clean, tidy, well appointed rooms with everything you could require for a short stay in a nice, quiet location. The late check-in process and arranging access to secured parking was not a problem. Interactions with Jim, Dee and housekeeping were always friendly. Thank you for a wonderful stay, will definitely be back.

Clean and tidy, practical re location for our purposes. Couch rather small and not comfortable however overall ok.

We have stayed at the Quest Albany twice in the last two months & both times it was an excellent stay. The area is relatively quiet but still a quick drive to North Shore central or even the city central! The rooms are always really clean and well equipped with everything you could need for a short or long stay. Special mention to Sonia for all of her help in rescheduling our booking with short notice when we were flooded in in the Far North and had no way to make our check-in; she was kind enough to reschedule our stay for the following weekend with no extra fees. All the front desk staff are so lovely & helpful. Our new go-to hotel when staying in Auckland!

Albany is my favourite Quest of all time. Takapuna is second because it has the best parking facilities, a bigger TV (sadly no sky sport, but there are movies on demand) and perhaps a little more of that new building smell. However, Albany wins because of the friendly Quest people, a sky sport channel and a nice touch with the travel pack tissues. The Wellington and Auckland city properties are all rather sad by comparison. Big wins for me is a fridge with a proper freezer compartment. The plunger coffee sachet is a bit of a gimmick but it was novel the first time I saw it. After hours check in at Albany is easy as. I see a few of reviews refer to bad service. Your experience is unfortunate and I’m sorry for your situation. I’ve had only excellent service on several visits so can only conclude that these are rare exceptions coinciding with unfortunate circumstances. This is the best place at this price point.

Had a great stay, friendly staff and very clean room. We forgot a jacket in the room and the follow up service to send it back to us we exceptional. Would highly recommend Quest Albany if you are looking for a modern, clean and quiet place to stay.

I said to the lady we would rebook another date, she said she would come back after checking, she did not, you had choices, terrible customer service and more poor judgment.

Be VERY careful when booking here we drove 3 hours to arrive there only to be told we need an actual credit card to be able to stay here but was not told this in our reservation emails we had a debit card thats like a credit card but this was not good enough then she had the cheek to say we can stay if we pay a $500 bond! The room was only 299 she did not help and was not understanding lucky we found a better place that allowed debt cards

The rooms are quiet if you need to study and they are of a good size. Parking is easy and you can walk to Massey easily. The staff are amazing and very helpful. Jim Park is THE GREATEST! Had a great experience here. Very comfortable rooms, bed was great. Had no issues at all and would highly recommend the stay. Albany is a little village, but has everything you would or could need!

Clean apartments with all the facilities needed for a short or longer stay. Reception staff are friendly and make the stay even better. Location is good, but I had a car so not sure what it would be like on foot/bus. Stayed here twice and both times were great.

Lovely clean rooms, excellent fast free unlimited WiFi. Close to shops, restaurants and the main motorways. Secure packing (extra charge) and helpful staff. No complaints, would happily stay again. Oh and the hot water in the shower doesn't go hot/cold/hot/cold like so many other places.

Great modern room with full kitchen facilities, washing machine and dryer. Even came with complimentary wash powder. A small thing but when you are on the road for work, it saves buying a whole box.

Loved our stay. Room was nice and clean and staff were very helpful. Having a washer/dryer was so convenient too. Will definitely be back.

I would usually give 4 stars for a quest however last week the room was on the cold side of the building, the aircon was useless, the dishwasher broke and not fixed during the four day stay. Management said to leave key in so the aircon is running all the time. Probably would have helped if only housekeeping didn't take it out and leave all windows open. Not a good experience this time.

Great serviced apartment. Good service. Sometimes parking can be an issue on weekdays unless you pay extra for parking

Clean quiet rooms, helpful staff. Only problem is that it is so far from the downtown and transport is difficult.

I meet many Quest Albany guests at Toucan Bistro nearby an they all invariable speak well of the service and accommodation. The comments are usually along the lines of.its comfortable, functional and the staff are welcoming and helpful.
