Booked in to view a property for 8am on a Thursday. After driving through peak hour traffic and having to deal with the CBD nightmare, the booking was cancelled without any notice after 8am on the day. No call. Only a text. Very unprofessional and driving from South Auckland this was absolutely frustrating. At least give a courtesy call!

I have been renting a property through this amazing company since November 2022 and have found them to be so incredibly wonderful. Really friendly staff who listen and efficiently respond to their client's needs and making sure everything runs smoothly.

I started with Quinovic in August 2019, when it was managed by two sisters, who I had a good experience with, and no issues. Then the Ponsonby franchise was taken over by Quinovic Mount Eden, and that is when problems started. The major one being lack of communication. An example of this, was a flood at the unit, which I had no knowledge of until I received the end of month financial statement. Also the ‘Healthy Homes Standards’ was completed in 2020, and I assumed the unit had passed, as I received no communication re this. I requested a copy of the report in July 2022, and found out a number of issues needed attention. I ended up communicating directly with the tenants, as neither of us could trust that the information was being passed on. I do think lack of experienced property managers during Covid, did not help matters, and the communication did improve markedly, when Tayla became the new property manager. I have now stopped using Quinovic Mt Eden/Ponsonby as my property managers.

Can’t fault the service I’ve received getting my property back on the rental market after a long rebuild. Highly recommend.

Quinovic Ponsonby were our property managers for a year. It would've been less effort and stress to manage the rental ourselves. They could've redeemed themselves by acknowledging the issues we raised after our engagement, but they denied everything and took no responsibility.

There are better property managers around. Quinovic never delivered on their sales pitch. The property wasn't well maintained, they locked us into a fixed lease tenancy without consultation and then charged us a $500 termination fee when we sold the property claiming we signed something that agreed to this which we did not - they have to yet provide proof of what we signed. Biggest stresser with owning a property was having to deal with them.

Quinovic sales person came to my property with a super great sales pitch after comparing them with other 3 good PM companies we decided to choose them to manage the property based on that sales conversation.

Reallity was the opposite and so far we didn't get anything of the good stuff mentioned on that sales meeting and in fact we had to find the tenant because Quinovic was being super ineffective and not giving us what promised.

Quinovic did many things wrong from day 1 without any quality checks on the work done. Very disappointing and looked unprofessional in some areas.
I had to chase them to make things right wasting my time to do your work. Still wondering what is the value on your service?

If friends ask me about Quinovic I would honestly say: A company that over promise to get your property but will not deliver by far.

Sad to see companies with great marketing and good sales pitch but poor performance.

After signing contract communication and quality drops from 10 to 1
