Sadly this is the service agent in NZ for bamix. I sent my bamix for repair which took them quite some time! It was finally repaired November 20th 2020 at a cost of $180. It took a lot of work to get communication and have the bamix supposedly fixed and returned. 5 months later it developed the same symptoms. I called them and their workmanship is only guaranteed for 3 months so shipping plus $75 inspection fee plus repair costs on a machine repaired and faulty within 5 months. Totally UNIMPRESSED

Called up to see if they could help. I told them I had a very specific problem with a specific machine and it may be out of their scope but was assured over the phone that they could do it. Once they got there only took him 2mins to diagnose that he wouldn't touch the machine because its got a few dents on it. Charged $120 for the call out. Very unreasonable.

Possibly the worst customer service over a 6 week period I’ve ever received from multiple staff. And instead of an apology they destroyed my product before giving it back (I took it there in working order)

I needed an urgent repair on my high powered wet/dry vacuum, and the boys at Rankin McManus came to my rescue quickly and effectively so I could continue to work.
They also recommended another local business for some small engineering work I inquired about.
Well done lads and great local networking. Highly recommended.

I would totally stay away from this business. I was quoted a price for a replacement motor of $314 plus $65 inspection fee. When my husband picked it up and paid for it. He didnt realise that this crowd had not replaced the motor as i was told they would. They had in fact. Replaced a cord and charged me $298 plus the $65. For a new cord. Grand total of $359.38 for the repair. Only $20 less than i was quoted for a replacement motor. I never agreed to having a cord replaced and was told it was the motor. I will be in touch with consumer as this company appears to have a track record of ripping customers off. No one would pay that for a new cord. Would be better to buy another vacuum. I have told as many people on line Do not use this company. They are BAD news and will RIP you off for BIG $

I called up if it’s ok to get some appliances test tagged, when I asked how much it would be the lady didn’t know. Assuming it would be a normal price, (what I’ve experienced so far is $5 to $12/appliance). When I got there they quoted $75 +gst for tagging 3 appliances. Probably McManus are great electricians, not recommended for test tagging.

$530 to replace 1 element on my stove the actual cost of the element was $40. I called and advised I needed my element replaced they came out ok yes it's your element we need to order that in. (I had already told them it was my element) back 3 weeks later and a lovely bill with it. If I had known it was going to cost that ridiculous amount of money I would have purchased a new oven. Bloody joke

These guys are cheaters. They so called repaired my robot coupe. "Damaged it"
Warning- Do not give ur expensive appliances to them. They will take money and damage it even more.
I gave mine to change blades, they asked me to put a new part to control noise. The machine had no issues with noise and since the machine turned it is noisy and you can hear parts moving inside.
Shame on you for cheating innocent customers and eating their hard earned money.

Bloody useless. Left a Panasonic microwave to get a quote and paid $65 for the privilege. Was told we would be contacted in the next 2 days. 8 days later and nothing!
Tried ringing and went to answer service. 3 hours later still nothing. Now will travel out there and collect and ask for a refund as they obviously haven't done anything.
If you're looking for service you might be better looking further afield than this.

Great service & fast turn around. Dropped our commercial meat slicer off for repair on Wednesday morning & collected fully repaired on Friday morning. Price is fair & reasonable. Thanks Peter.
