Red Cross Shop Takanini

Very nice store, I visited this shop yesterday with my sister and daughter, very organized shop throughout.

The spanish/hispanic lady (owner) Is completely rude and or possibly racist and for no reason. She seems to be nice to white people, any other culture she turns her nose up. I have been in 3 times and each time met with an evilly rude gaze, even when I have been polite enough to greet with a smile. The 3rd and last time I stormed out. She'll be losing a lot of business because of her cynicism. I took a secret video of her rudeness and posted it on my 'Consumers' website for everyone to see how rude she is, and how NOT to behave in retail. Lady deserves to work in inwards goods so noone can see her sour face. I hope her business flops and she moves her grumpy face back to spain.

I visited this shop yesterday and it was very well organized throughout. Can't wait to return again!

Well they just lost two seperate customers who were waiting at the counter. Bell rung twice and nothing no one. Lady with fringe needs to be more on to it with customers waiting to be served

Went pass this shop everyday, and finally today I went in and it was so beautiful. First impression is how gorgeous the setups and everything. I love that gorgeous lady at the counters service?

Heard about this Op shop so I managed to get there from West and it was so worth it. Reasonable pricing but I was so impressed with the different staging zones. There was Vintage, Childrens bedroom staged, antiques, new…even the chandelier’s above the counter were eye catching. Great job with the decor and very friendly service. I have every intention of going back and telling friends

The manager at this place is incredibly rude and should learn better manners and customer service! Not impressed.

What a lovely well organised store! Everything looks so well presented from the moment you walk in! I love the kids display the ladies have put together there, it just makes it feel a bit brighter than any second hand charity store! I will be back!

Manager here is rude. The store closes early and surprisingly they don’t accept donations on Saturdays. I’m in shock.
She rejected my donation telling me not today.

Beautiful op shop! So much thought has been put into staging rooms/ areas. The styling is impeccable. There is a decent range but the prices are veering into 'designer-op shop' territory; which is fairly expected for a boutique-style store.

Brief visit on the way through. Lots of items to be had at good prices.however nothing of interest for me today.

Well it is a nice cosy Environment. However a lady at the till took some time to calculate an old fragile hardcover book and gave a quote of $10. Get real mate

How about a set price for hardcovers @ $2

Beautiful store, very friendly staff! Everything is priced very well and affordable for the community. Always very tidy and well organised.

It depends what you are looking for. If you are just browsing, this is fine and may come across one or two things not seen elsewhere.

Must have new owners, because she gave me a great bargain for an English fine china set that was missing only one bowl but 6 of everything else. $25! Total steal, she gave me other antique bargains as well. I found vintage teddy-bears in almost brand new condition that would've cost me 6 times that price and often higher in other stores. Tidy and nicely displayed. Inspires you to spend and shop. Lovely owner and her assistant was accommodating and friendly.

They used to be ok when located within the Papakura township. They have moved several times. Each time they seem to get more and more expensive.
Spyder pants for $150.00. This is why I do not donate to the mainstream op shops.
