Terribly disappointing services. Had to return home from work over 6 times so Redgraves could correct numerous measuring/installation errors they had made - among other issues.
From the moment that Des from Redgraves arrived at our home to quote on our house lot of drapes we were impressed!
He listened to what we were looking for and assessed our existing environment. He then went out to his van and returned with three possible samples that he felt looked right in our house, taking into account the floor and wall coverings.
We chose his first suggestion!
We had been struggling to find a fabric that we could envisage in our home despite having had 3 other curtain companies visit and quote.
Des is certainly a professional with an eye for detail. He suggested moving our tracks up to ceiling level to exaggerate the room height. In one of our smaller bedrooms he recommended that we change from drapes to Roman blinds using the same drape fabric to make the room feel bigger (and it does!). He changed the way our three lots of dining room drapes were configured so that all drapes are now focussed in one area, which has changed the whole look of the room. He changed a track in 2 of our upstairs bedrooms on a Cathedral ceiling wall to match the colour of the wallpaper (what a difference, the track now blends in beautifully). He recommended a new Superbloc lining that not only blocks out all daylight (great for sleeping!) and provides UV protection and insulation!
Des was able to give us a quote there and then! His quote was detailed and it was the cheapest of all 4 quotes that we had received. Despite extra tracks! The main reason we decided to go with Redgraves was their helpful advise. Des assured us that the fabric we had chosen for our new drapes would look fantastic.
He was right!
We had our new drapes installed this week and we are very, very happy with the result.
I would highly recommend Redgraves to any one wanting new drapes, they delivered when they said they would and arrived to quote and install on time! The installers were very organised and professional too and had the job done in less than 3 hours!
The drapes are very well made and hang beautifully.
