Refresh Renovations Auckland Central and West Auckland

We had a make over of our bathroom; the process was well co-ordinated even when a tradesman for one part of the project was sick and we had a minor delay.
My wife and I were very pleased with the tradespeople selected for the project and contributed useful information when required to assist with our decisions when required.
It has bought our bathroom up to date and has made what I feel is a valuable addition to our house.

We requested a quote for our renovation. Refresh responded immediately and got us a quote in a timely manner. They were professional, responsive, and considerate. They went beyond and offered additional help.

Quote provided but did not go ahead with the job.

Didn't listen to the customer on budget, and took over a month from visiting the property to generate the quote. Gave a budget of $12,000 to $15,000 for a 1.5m x 2m small bathroom renovation with no movement of plumbing fixtures. We were quoted $28,000 all up for the job.

Concerns raised with slowness in quote provided and not listening to customers budget concerns. I explicitly said we are looking for a budget renovation and if you do not provide this service there is no point in coming out to quote.

A waste of time for everyone involved.

We owned a classic Auckland villa in Onehunga which required the usual renovation requirements of an aging villa. These included full house re-piling, exterior and window rot repair and paint (including new timber joinery), roof repair and paint, interior painting and tiling, and some plumbing work.

Dominic at Refresh initially led us through the design and council consenting process for the re-piling work. Following this, Dominic and his team undertook all the renovation works mentioned above, dealing with all the subcontractors without us having to get involved. Renovations can be stressful (especially through COVID), and there were issues which popped up, however these were communicated and resolved satisfactorily. Dominic took care of all the council documentation, inspections as well as the final CCC.

Overall we are really pleased with the results and glad we engaged Dominic at Refresh to help us through the process. We would definitely recommend Dominic and his team.

Corey and his team were fantastic to deal with from start to finish. The renovation service was professional, and was well laid out and managed through online software. Renovating in an apartment comes with it's barriers and obstacles, which we were all collectively able to overcome. Was kept informed with the project throughout. We renovated a floor, laundry room, wardrobe and sun seat. Would recommend anyone to use Corey and his team for any mid to large renovation projects.

Dom and Rebecca from Refresh Renovations did an outstanding job project managing our kitchen replacement. They helped with planning and design, had many great suggestions that added to the final look, organized an efficient team of tradies that actually turned up when they said they would and who all took great pride in their work.
Rebecca and Dom where always easy to contact and not matter how fussy we were, they greeted us with a smile and a “no problem” attitude. Cannot recommend these guys highly enough and will definitely use them again myself for future renovations.

We were short of space living in a two bedroom 1920s bungalow with our growing kids still sharing a bedroom. We didn't want to sell but weren't sure how to move ahead with an extension on an old house, it was all new to us. We decided to talk to Dominic at Refresh, he helped us make the decisions that had been holding us back - from then on the project moved ahead with design, consent and build all happening in a smooth and timely manner. Rebecca was an amazing project manager, we were both able to carry on with work and family life while she took care of scheduling and contractors and also patiently helped us with design decisions. We're really happy with the outcome, we now have the space we need to stay in our much loved home. A lot of the stress involved in managing a project like this was taken on by Refresh. Because our house was old the usual problems cropped up, but everything was discussed with us and resolved. For a first time job of this scale we are really happy we decided to work with Refresh.

Corey and his team transformed our house last year and we can't recommend them highly enough. The project involved extending the house and replacing the existing kitchen. We also added french doors and a deck out to the garden. Corey was pro-active, responsive and always available to answer questions. Everyone involved in the project was friendly, professional and a pleasure to deal with. The work was of an excellent standard and we are thrilled with the results.

Working through Corey we found the Refresh Rennovation process suited what turned out to be a significant rennovation on our Onehunga villa.
Corey and his team of tradesmen were all tested with the number of unforeseen issues that were unearthed during this villa project. The team always presented a number of options available to us before proceeding which gave my wife and I a lot comfort that Corey and his team were looking after our interests. Having Corey project manage the renovation in the end turned out to be our best decision as he took an enormous amount of an underestimated amount of stress away us during the renovation process that to be honest that we totally underestimated.

However we now have a totally renovated and beautiful villa that has totally changed how we live. The family couldn’t be happier with end result that Corey and his team delivered.

Overall very happy with the finish we got - lounge & kitchen look amazing!
Having a project manager in charge saved us a lot of hassle and Dom & Rebecca were very helpful & took the majority of stress out of renovating. Gareth the builder was excellent. Very happy with the painting team.
