The service is terrible highly not recommended
They only happy to call to you to sign you up but not in the service

How can a company like Rentokil Initial NZ be so bad at business and yet still be in business? They bill for work never done, then threaten debt collection and don't reply to emails. Rip off

Rentokil came to my home to do the treatment for crawling insects including cockroaches in February 2021 and charged me close to $500/-
Once the house was treated we spotted small cockroaches which were non existent before the treatment. So I advised them about the spotting of the cockroaches They advised me that it is coming from outside so they said they will do the outside treatment which I am not sure if they have done one as we go to work early morning. They asked me to send the picture of the cockroach and I did so. They confirmed and said it is a wood cockroach and agreed to do the treatment. Unfortunately, we have to postpone it couple of times as my son was doing exams who is chronically suffering from eczema. Then I received a phone call saying that they cannot do the treatment as warranty period is over. I explained to them again and again what really happened yet they refused to do the treatment. They have failed in every way and I would not recommend this company for any job to anyone either domestic or commercial. They showed total irresponsibility and ownership and unprofessional customer service.

Rentokil took over the business I went to each year for an insect treatment. This year the price doubled. Over 2 months later I received a bill for over $1000 dollars. I emailed back saying it was extremely stressful receiving this email, I provided a screen shot twice confirming I paid the account prior to the service. I also said I'm not clear why they are trying to charge me twice? No reply. I followed up and asked for an update. Again, no reply.
I think when people are respectful and nice, companies don't care. I won't be using any rentokil company again. They may not care, but when companies treat good customers this way, they don't return.
Oafter the treatment, i contacted them to advise the treatment didn't work, no reply. Terrible product, Terrible service, very expensive

In January, We requested a specific treatment of a parcel containing wool located at the International Mail Center in Auckland so it can be brought into the country. They had to cope with a backlog and promised that they would treat the parcel mid February. Today - 1.5 months after the expected execution of the job, I received a call that Rentokil does not offer the requested treatment. Needless to say that we are extremely disappointed and frustrated how our job was handled: Their staff did not know what treatment they offer, 1.5 months late, and an email with "sorry for the inconvenience" as apology.
