Very well organised and efficient. The manager Cody went above and beyond to secure an industrial coating that I urgently needed which was in short supply. He turned what was quite a stressful situation into something easy, searching the Auckland stores for what I needed and getting it couriered over.

Cannot recommend enough!

Centered around people, I visited Resene Newmarket with the intention of acquiring test pots for a small painting project. A courteous young gentleman warmly welcomed me and efficiently aided in locating all the colors on my list, a task that would have been daunting if tackled alone. Recognizing the need for expertise, he enlisted the help of a more experienced colleague to assist me in finding the perfect white-washed paint I sought. During the wait for my paint to be mixed, another gentleman extended a friendly greeting and inquired if I required any further assistance.

As the transaction concluded, the seasoned staff member patiently mentored the younger associate in navigating the checkout system and applying promotional codes. My shopping experience at Resene Newmarket was undeniably gratifying. I had adjusted to the realities of an understaffed retail environment and embraced self-service and check-out procedures, aligning with the practices of everyone else. In evoking a sense of nostalgia, Resene Newmarket harkened back to the shopping experiences of days gone by. The supportive rapport between senior and junior staff members further demonstrated the workplace's merit. I extend my gratitude, Resene Newmarket, and undoubtedly, I will choose to procure paint from your establishment in the times to come.

Huge thank you to Lucy at Newmarket Resene, who selected colours for my wooden fence and corrugated iron fence. She did this with the colours of the weatherboards and trims in mind. I've so far painted the corrugated iron fence and am absolutely thrilled with the colour. The slight green undertone looks great against the neighbour's foliage on the fenceline! The paint was lovely and smooth to apply. It's the first time I've prepped and painted anything, and was a bit nervous, but Lucy helped me feel confident to be able to do it myself, and I'm so happy with the colours she chose. Obviously been painting around the house during lockdown, Resene knows their paints! Be sure to sign up for their card which gives you a 10 percent discount.

Very disappointing service by the front counter women with Grey hair, I think her name was a Anne beth. No customer service at all and not helpful. Came in about a month ago, Stood at the counter for 15minutes when it was finally our turn. She immediately left and got no response. She went to attend other jobs at that point. Definitely not recommending to any of my colleagues or friends. According to the other comments here, that this is the she treats people. Maybe all the paint fumes have interfered with her ability to interact with people

Very poor service, I waited for 10mins at the counter while a staff member and a lady who came out of the office talked between themselves the whole time. I could also see staff out the back sitting around and talking. Good paint and colour choices l but womt be coming back to this store while the current staff still work there

I recently came in and dealt with a young bloke who really helped me. He throughly explained to me what was the correct procedures, best paint for the job and even the best equipment to use. I followed his advice and now I'm stoked with the end result. During the visit I was treated very well and had good yarn with him. Thanks heaps!

I came to resene new market today, i asked the old kiwi lady with silver hair about stuff and paint to buy. But she keep saying “ i dont know “ “ probably i dont know “ “ just ask the people in the table “. I was like.how she can say that when she is working in here like everyone?

After wasting a bus trip based on the recommendation off a previous Resene location, all I encountered at this Resene store location was unprofessional excuses and INCOMPETENCE!

I needed a color-matching to a sample I brought with me, and the color-matcher '"professional" on hand, named Andrew, was incapable of being able to help me. Apparently, Resene is NOT well-equipped or capable of meeting customer needs at anytime of the day. Their lights are not well-calibrated and apparently they rely on sunlight for optimum results. My, how ancient! In the United States - where I'm proudly from - color-matching paint is NEVER an issue at places like Home Depot or other paint retailers. But New Zealand continues to struggle without success to catch-up with the 21st century! And today made me realize I can NEVER count on most New Zealand services to be prompt, efficient, or satisfactory to any degree!

As Andrew rambled on about the poor quality of surrounding light, I just stood there dumb-founded realizing I was, yet, encountering another Kiwi excusing himself from being in any form effectual with his job. Without any further acknowledging of him, I just turned-around and left. His incompetence couldn't even halt me half-way to exclaim some other resolution to my issue. Truly, what POOR customer service!

This is the so-called illustrious "Kiwi Experience" New Zealand employers expect of their native employees, and if you as a foreigner living in New Zealand don't possess these "qualifications, " consider yourself excessively unemployed! "Kiwi Experience" expects you practice effectively: Laziness, incompetence, excuses, lack of fore-sight, not being proactive, thinking squarely and never outside of the box, quitting on customer service before even trying, and volley-balling customers from one salesperson to another in order to avoid - that's right - working.

Avoid this Resene store. If not, avoid all of them!
