Robert Harris reviews
48I came in for brunch with my friends on a Saturday morning. The place was quite busy but the line at the cashier was short. I have been to other Robert Harris before so I know I will always get good food. My friend ordered peach iced tea and really enjoyed it. She was almost finished with her drink when she noticed there was a big black ant in her drink. She returned the drink to the staff and the staff just said 'eww' and threw the drink away. When my friend went back to our table we asked if she was offered to get her drink replaced. She said nothing of the sort was said. We must have talked about it too much and too loudly that eventually another staff approached us and asked my friend about her drink. The staff then asked my friend if she wanted a new drink or a refund so my friend said a refund. The staff refunded her and apologised. We told the staff we appreciate her gesture. It was a good save. Appreciate that staff for her very good approach. I loved my bacon and egg croissant by the way.
Fantastic service from the staff yesterday. Food and coffee was perfect, but most importantly the staff went out of their way to accommodate my kids.
Love going thete as they have friendly, helpful staff, especially with people who have a disability. Toilets available. Coffee and food selection fresh.
Was our go too cafe, not any-more - My wife and I have been going to this cafe for many years on a regular basis - Around 6 weeks ago it was sold and is under new management - What can I say, sorry you had us as customers, not anymore, we are off to the Boston Cafe in Northside Drive Westgate
Fastest mocha I had a in a while, the batista was serving coffee like he's making them with an automatic machine, great customer service from servers as well.
Asked for a large mocha, and they made me a medium. After I complained, they just dumped the medium in a large cup and added milk. The half of the chocolate was left on the bottom of the other cup and the thing tasted like milk. I thought for the price I would get an extra shot of coffee, that’s why I asked for a large coffee… not coming back again… or at least not getting a large coffee
It had been a long time since I went to have some breakfast and the food was great and service was excellent.
Good place to have family to meet up.
Only had a coffee and it wasn't bad. Friendly staff. Sat outside which was ok, a little snug
Hair in Eggs Benedict, watched as waitress took it to kitchen to highlight with cook, who vigorously shook her unetted hair in denial, no doubt shedding more follicle spice to others food.
Very meh.
I ordered the smashed avo and it was extraordinarily underwhelming.
Some pams multigrain and spread avo. Waste of stomach space
I normally only get a takeaway almond flat white, but today I stayed and also had tge eggs on toast with bacon, so glad I did, was delicious, so yummy.always leave here happy
Was hoping to get the fresh savoury on display in the front of the cabinet. Unfortunately today I received last weeks dried out savoury that was hidden behind the one I saw.better luck next time
A simple takeaway order. 2 flat whites, 1 bacon egg cheese toastie, And 1 bacon, egg, cheese, pineapple toastie.traveling down the road we realised we should have just brought maca’s.
1000 degree coffee! No cheese. No pineapple on either!
Bacon, egg is what it was.lol.how hard is this? A simple order? ! Happens allot here by the looks.maybe next time I’ll ask for absolutely no extras please, and I’ll get all of them! Lol.a toastie from hell! Ha ha ha.
I hadn't been but was recomened by a gentleman in Post shop. Excellent choice! I had tasty toasted sandwiche. Bacon, egg & tomato on crusty bread.piping hot accompanied by a pot of English breakfast tea. Would recommended highly. The "sweet cabinet" was we) stocked with delightful but nasty treats too. Well deserved 5 star rating
Great coffee and food friendly staff
We have been going here for years quality of service, coffee, and food is still to a very high standard and the staff are outstanding - Still our go too cafe
The coffee is always good. I was the only one that had something to eat, & chose biscotti. It tasted good, but because it was around 2-3 times the thickness of a traditional biscotti, was a little cakey.
Very popular place and I can taste why. Great service, delicious Eggs Bene that was beautifully presented and a great portion. Coffee and the lemon, ginger, honey tea was worth the visit and overall, good value for money
Went for brunch yesterday. Ordered mushroom gnocchi. Gnocchi was served with a HAIR in it. Brilliant! Must be a very hygienic kitchen & staff! Needless to say I m not going there ever again.
The worst big breakfast I’ve ever had period. The poached eggs looked like they had been pre-cooked and reheated as they were hard and rubbery, the baked beans were cold and tasted fresh out the can at $24 you’d expect better, a friend of mine got the smashed avo and the avo was a dark brown colour and was served as 2 tablespoons worth on toast. This place is horrible!
No thought was put into the presentation of the big breakfast! Chicken nuggets was so hard granddaughter couldn't eat it!
Eggs Beni and pancake was ok!
