We have a small plumbing business and have called a few times to get some technical information. In 2 instances the person has been rude and uninterested. I'd have thought they would know their products well enough to be able to recommend a specific product or provide technical support for install. Really don't like dealing with this company and will avoid it at all costs.

The communication I received from Annaleigh, a member of the After Sales Service team, was not only informative but also incredibly friendly. She arranged the new seal for us within 1 day and sent it through to Wellington.

The lead times for delivery were clearly outlined, making it convenient for me to anticipate the arrival of my order.

The cherry on top was the inclusion of my order reference for delivery and a handy link to track the order live. This level of transparency and convenience truly showcases Robertson Bathware's commitment to providing a seamless customer experience.

Terrible customer service. Had a brand new shower tray which cracked after 2 years. I contacted Robertsons as the tray had a 10 warranty and sent pics. Talked to Aaron who said it was not a crack it was damage from chemicals in cleaners. I said I’d never used any cleaners as I had a coating on the doors which could be damaged by chemicals. I said I could prove I hadn’t used any chemical cleaners as I had text messages dated months before the crack appeared from my niece asking what cleaner I used, as my shower still looked brand new, and my reply was that I don’t use and cleaners only hot water. At which point Aaron said it would be the chemicals from my shampoo then. I also told him I could get my fingernail right down into the crack, he ignored that. He recommended I contact a shower repair company but refused to come look at it, great sales rep! I got both a plumber and the shower repair company, which Aaron had recommended, to come and look at the tray, both said it was in fact cracked and that it wasn’t due to shampoo or faulty installation, which Aaron had said would be the problem if in fact it was a crack, which he doubted. They both said it was a fault in the manufacture of the tray. Robertsons have ghosted me and haven’t replied to my last email. I now have an $800 bill to repair their faulty tray because they won’t honour the 10 year warranty on this product. Terrible company, with zero idea of customer service. I’m editing this review to respond to their reply. -
Before you reply that you never said it was my shampoo, check with Aaron and tell him he was on speaker phone and I wasn’t alone, so I have a witness to what he said! Also two independent people examined the tray and BOTH say it is definitely cracked. You refuse to come look in person and from pictures you can tell better than a plumber and a shower repair specialist that it’s not cracked. Your go to excuse is damage from cleaning chemicals as attested to by other reviews. The shower repair specialist, who spends every day fixing showers, would be able to tell if he’s fixing a crack or chemical damage and he has nothing to gain by saying it’s a crack, he’s got the job to fix it regardless. I knew from my phone calls you wouldn’t honour the warranty so my only purpose in posting this review is to warn other people that any fault with Robertsons showers will automatically be blamed on cleaning products, which means you have no warranty, so be prepared for that.

Robertson takes pride in the quality of their products and it really shows! Their product range has everything you are looking for whatever budget you have and the team are super helpful. Great sales through the outlet store too!

I had an exceptional experience dealing with the staff at Robertson Bathware. The team was incredibly helpful, professional and knowledgeable, they provided me with the best solution for my bathroom and kitchen needs, they guided me through the process, helped me find the perfect product, and made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. I am extremely satisfied with the quality and craftsmanship of their bathroom and kitchen products, They exceeded my expectations in every way. Spent nearly $30k with these guys as we liked the grohe tapware on our last build. Happy with tapware, just not robertsons. One of the taps didnt come with an aerator, after 6 months and multiple chasing emails wrong one arrived (and charged $40). I have had no reply from Robertsons to email about getting correct replacement part sent 2 weeksa ago. Just ended up buying online and arrived in 5 days at half the price.
I bought through these guys rather than saving money by buying online (significantly cheaper) so I would have after purchase support. Customer service is non existent after the sale is made. I suggest in this day and age just buy online and get shipped to NZ, thats what i am doing on my next build.

I ended up getting a great set of Grohe tap ware for a new bathroom, thanks to the amazingly helpful Suzan at the Outlet Shop. Thank you!

Terrible aftercare customer service. Our bath has a defect in the base from moulding which was not noticed at time of install due to its location and the finish of the bath. Rather than going through the rigmarole of paying to have the faulty bath removed and a replacement one installed (at our cost for removal and re install) we asked for some financial compensation to keep the defected bath instead.

Robertson's know it will cost us even more to remove and install a replacement bath, so we were told "Giving you a discount is not in our interest as the factory will replace the bath" They have not seen the defect nor are they interested in doing so. Spend your money elsewhere with a company who doesn't just take your money and run.

Robertson Bathware does not honour the warranties.
I bought 3 American Standard basin faucets through Mitre 10 plus one other of a different brand and within 2 years the surface of the 3 American Standard were breaking down, corroding and oxidising - the other brand is still in top condition after 4 years (all in the same house with similar use and cleaning).
Mitre 10 filed a warranty claim, photographs included, with Robertson on my behalf which was simply rejected as they said harsh cleaners had been used. Totally wrong - never anything but soap and water.

Robertson did not answer my follow-up direct message to them.
These faucets have a 10 year warranty - obviously faulty materials which is covered under NZ law.

Excellent showroom with full product range on display and plumbed too so that you can test and experience the product when making your selections

Showroom staff are not knowledgeable. Lot of people sitting around pushing paper. They are not a consumer supplier but more to wholesale and sale to builders etc. Found extremely expensive too. Dont bother wasting your time to go there

The finish of the cistern is not even, got two big shallow spots at the front. The quality of American Standard is not keeping up with the price. The warehouse manager Edwina is very helpful, she quickly swapped the faulty cistern and mixer for me in a very professional way.

I have never dealt with a company who is so helpful from the ladies in customer service through to the showroom and right down to there service department.
The team at Robertson makes it a breeze to deal with them.

Also a bonus they sell worldwide brands and quiltiy! If you are looking to renovate or build, I would highly recommend to go and see the team at Robertson and I tell ya, you will not be disappointed.
