DO NOT USE ROCKET FREIGHT!
We recently moved from New Zealand to Cape Town and entrusted Rocket Freight with our personal effects - Big Mistake!
Our cargo took more than twice as long as quoted, over 3 months! We were never kept updated but had to constantly ask about it's arrival.
When it did finally arrive at port we had to pay over $3000 in so called handling fees, which was never even mentioned in our quote. All of our boxes were crushed, torn and damaged! A bike that we had paid extra to have shipped arrived in 3 pieces unwrapped and damaged!
Nd to cap things off my very expensive Linn Turntable was crushed!
Rocket Freight is a disaster - DON'T USE THEM EVER!

They don 't even deserve the 1 star. Promised more than they could deliver, blamed their incompetence on Covid and when our stuff finally arrived after 5 months delay, it was damaged. I tried to contact them but there is zero customer service. We even had insurance but there is just no response to my emails or phone calls. Never again.

I'm so happy with Lisa and her fantastic help in clearing our household UK shipment into Wellington for our relocation, she is the best! Alexandra was of great assistance as well.

Great company to deal with. They organised pick up of goods in new Zealand and delivered to our factory in Melbourne.

Rocket Freight did an awesome job getting multiple (large and heavy) items from AUS to NZ, they arranged it all door to door. Very impressed with the high levels of customer service, communication and care provided throughout the whole process. Given the time of year (Christmas) and many other constraints outside of their control, the service levels were exceptional. Wouldn't hesitate to use again or recommend.

Update after a few shipments: Still nothing but positive things to say. Dorian was extremely helpful at the start and Alexandra has been so wonderful to work with on all my recent orders. Extremely kind and good at communicating updates.

As a first time business owner with no importing experience, the Rocket Freight team have been quick and extremely professional with any questions that I have had and also helped me out of a tight spot regarding a sea freight order that I made a month before I even knew what a customs broker was! I made mistakes that, thanks to Dorian and Alexandra, I will never make again. Wonderful people and I love working with them.

I contacted Rocket Freight at short notice to arrange shipping my parents household goods from Auckland to Fiji. Within a week of contacting them our goods were packed into a container and on their way to the port. Everyone from Vicki who coordinated everything and the packing team lead by Kong and Dilsher were really professional, sincere, and a pleasure to work with.

I recently used Rocket Freight Int Ltd for my move back to Canada from New Zealand. In these Covid times, with all the shipping delays, communication was top notch at both the Rocket Freight end and their Canadian partner AMJ Campbell Int end.
