We were staying up the road and decided to check Rosie's out. At 1: 30pm we felt like some of the breakfast meals and it was not a problem.
Service was excellent as was the meals presentation and mix. Great coffee also. Definitely make it a regular in future travels.

Rosie never fails to impress. It's expensive (there's no way around it) but worth it for a high-quality but informal dining experience. Also not too noisy and a pleasant place to sit.

We like going to Rosie‘s for coffee and breakfast but the visit just now in the small café next to their restaurant … so weird!
I ordered 2 coffees, medium and some food.
When the coffees came out they were different sizes so I pointed out that I ordered both of them in medium. She just said ok and chucked the bigger cup into the sink and made me the coffee in the smaller size. I was so shocked about the waste that I didn’t even ask if they charged me for the bigger coffee, chucked it and gave me a new coffee in a small cup. How wasteful!

When we have a client meeting in Auckland I always pre order some savoury, sweets and drinks from Rosie a couple days before. They are always super helpful, provide these in an easy way for my team to carry plus amazing food and friendly staff! 100% recommend and we will always be a returning customer:)

Poor lighting not sure why restaurants want mood lighting so dim you can't read the menu. Otherwise excellent experiance and if you like sitting in the dark this restaurant will make 5 stars for you.

WOW! The food was incredible. Every bite was soooo flavourful. If I could lick my plate clean afterwards, I would. Instead, I tried my best to scrape off every single sauce from the plate with my food.recommend. Humble looking cafe but food and service were on point!

Great food and great eats. We’ve been here several times now and have always enjoyed the experiences. In particular the breakfast paella is excellent!

Me & partner went here first time for late lunch. Place atmosphere is lovely, staff is friendly.

The food is nice & lovely presentation, the pasta taste more like curry-ish style and my partner fish w/ mushroom sauce was the star of the day among the rest.

I order green juice & jasmine-elderflower ice tea (in this photo) both drinks lovely!

Overall, we are satisfied with the foods & drinks def will back, just little downside is the attentiveness of staff to take empty glasses/dishes from our table which makes our table bit crowded & not comfortable for enjoying our meal.

First time trying here and really impressed with the food, flavours and presentation. A very satisfying brunch.

Little Rosie - great location let down by poor attitude of staff and urine on the floor. Called in there for a coffee and croissant today. I immediately noticed a puddle of urine on the floor (from a dog, I assume!?) and reported in to the staff. In the 25 minutes I was there, the staff failed to clear up the mess while customers came and went, stepping over the puddle. If this is an indicator of their attention to essential hygiene, I won’t be back!

Deliciously non-standard menu, with all dishes made to perfection. A beautiful spot for an early morning brekkie. The coffee is great too.

Appears a popular breakfast stop by locals. Busy. Table service and menu for light and cooked food options. Usual hot/cold drink options. Street parking okay. Ped Xing very nearby. Pleasant team. Food generous in portion and well presented. Nice cafe just up from the Rose Gardens.

The omelette was nice, just as well, the other offerings were a bit obscure. No ponytails were pulled even though there were quite a few "on offer". What on Earth was John Key thinking?

My partner and I went to this place for the first time. We were very disappointed with the quality of the food there. The poached eggs were completely overdone, the Caesar salad had way too much mayonnaise, the chicken was very cold and taste like it has been in the fridge for few days. Coffee was average. Bacons not chewable. I also asked if their orange juices were freshly squeezed and they assured me it is while it was definitely not. My partner and I both felt sick for few hours after the meal. I do not not recommend this place.

The hot chocolate w/almond milk was lukewarm and watery, I couldn't really taste the chocolate.

Went to support them coming out of lockdown but the coffee was Luke warm and the brioche dry and dense, and too much loose sugar.
