Very bad quality wood, and the person I dealt with wouldn’t refund the money, he was rude. I will not buy from this company again.

Previously I've had good service & wood. But this year approx.a third of my 3 cubic meters of hot mix was small kindling only. There was also very little gum. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with Roskill Firewood they said it was a problem with their supplier. But they only gave me two small bags of logs in compensation. So this means approx. $190 of the $570 I paid was for kindling! Very unhappy with this.

Turned up on time, and delivered a good dry mix of wood. Nice regular sized logs which I'd estimate at a 'chucked' 2 cubes (as ordered).

Parking. 5 off street and plenty of space to turn a trailer

Communication 5 called, left a message and was called straight back

Service 5 guy gave me a hand to load a cube. Nice to see the wood piles covered

Wood 5 got the hotmix - dry, well seasoned and ready to burn

Value 5 160 is up there but at least I can burn it now. My wood shed holds a stacked cube and this was about right

Imagine losing a customer due to not fufilling your duties and selling products. We tried to come to your establishment 4 times to buy fire wood but was not able to purchase it any at any or each of those times we arrived. Why? Is it so hard to buy wood from a wood place like u literally just sell wood.

SHOULD CHANGE OPEN HOURS TO NEVER OPEN because we've tried to come to this place 5 times during the 'open' hours and he's never there, have called the number countless times and have called the number countless times without the owner showing up. Sick and tired of having to argue with the owner just to buy their product so will no longer try.hope your business thrives but to do so maybe work on your ethics.

My first time xperience buying wood from this company seems to match the other bad reviews I have just read. I ordered 2cub dry mix and the pile when delivered was not as big as the last piles in three years from a previous supplier and the wood is predominantly wet. Very heavy big chunks full of knots which as a solo mum I'm risking losing a foot trying to chop through it to get it down to a burnable size due to the inner damp of the wood. Not impressed at all and won't be going back to this company next year. A month on now and I'm so angry with this wood. It is wet it is heavy and 80%is big chunks full of knots that I'm finding it almost impossible to chop through. I wonder what the owner will do about this for me as I'm sure he reads his reviews.

DO NOT BUY WOOD FROM HERE. Or at least have them confirm it is dry. I purchased 2 cubes, one macrocarpa, one gum (actual volume was well short of 2 cubic meters, closer to 1.6-1.7ish). 90% of macro was dry, and burnable, 100% of gum was soaking wet. As in, unburnable, I was told that is normal, who buys FIREwood that won't burn? I was also told that their wood was seasoned for a year, yet when split, it was dark in colour in the middle, and moist to touch, which means it was not properly seasoned, and furthermore, it was beginning to rot on the ends as it was stored in water, not just outside, but in a very, wet, muddy environment. The delightful owner (SARCASM) Rob, proceeded to inform me that he was under no obligation to inform customers that the wood was wet, and would not actually burn when put on a fire. Which to me is just insane. I offered them the opportunity to right this, take back the wet wood which is taking up half of my wood shed, and give me some dry, burnable wood to keep my family warm. I am still yet to receive a response. In the mean time. I urge anyone considering buying their wood, travel to the site. Select the wood you would like. If I had seen these reviews prior to purchase, I would more than likely have kept my hard earned money in my pocket, and purchased anywhere else.

DO NOT BUY WOOD FROM THESE PEOPLE! I asked when I bought the wood if it was dry (Macrocarpa). But when it was delivered I found NONE of it would burn and is damp all the way through even though looks dry on the outside.

DO NOT BUY WOOD FROM THESE PEOPLE.we ordered 4 cubic meters from these people which was promptly delivered and my wife paid for it, she called me concerned about the quantity as i was not home, i went home and measured to pile which came to 2.88 cubic meters, i phoned the man who really did not care, he told me his truck carried 5 cubic meters and had been in business for 25 years, We have been short changed over a cube and feel very very ripped off, i strongly suggest they re-evaluate how they measure their loads as this is not only a rip off but illegal. Shame on you Roskill Firewood.
