We were so happy with the fantastic service and knowledgeable staff. It was awesome to be able to take a smaller size home to see how it looked, and we were straight out there the next morning to purchase our beautiful new rug and bring it to its new home. Great deal, and a great experience!

I have always bought rugs from Rugs Direct. I love the quality of these rugs! They are thick and plush and continue to look good years down the track. The service from this team has always been polite and efficient. When I couldn't make up my mind about which rug to choose, they were kind enough to send me videos to help me make a decision.

Me and my partner went to this store this morning and we were attended by Shehan-he is very attentive to our needs and very knowledgeable about the products. The staff working there were very polite and all smiling. The rug we bought suits our living room really beautifully, very good quality and we are more than happy with our purchase.

I went online to look for a runner carpet and I found Rugs Direct. Wow! Had a hard time choosing from all the rugs available. The team was very helpful, sending a video of the rug I was interested in. This helped so much. The rug that I bought is exactly what I expected, even better. Love it. We had a great experience with Rugs Direct. Our runner rug and the two non slip underlays arrived this morning (suprisingly fast and cheap shipping for such large items) and we are so happy with them. They look exactly like the pictures, and my husband is amazed at how effectively the underlay grips. The customer support was great, they helped us to order between sizes so that our new rug fits our space perfectly.

Not at all recommend places to visit.
Visiting their Newmarket store, staff was very nice and welcoming, but they couldn't help much as Manager not present and they didn't have authority to check any discounted overlocking rates and shipping as advertised free on the website .
The website says and when you add a product in the cart it says free shipping but they don't accept it. (fake advertisement) Contacted them on weekend, no response and visited store no help.  They responded today  sale finish so cant match price and blaming / accusing customer as a fault. They say get a discounted price and pay shipping or pay full price and get free shipping. I was about to buy a product worth $650 and due to there and customer service I can't make a purchase as they ask me to go somewhere else or pay for shipping.  This can be explained in a nice way too but they believe in arguments.
What's the customer's fault if your staff don't have authority to discuss the product ? Manager not helpful? No response to customer phone and email till late? Shame if you operate a business like this and lose sales, rather than communicating with customers .
Again staff present in the Newmarket branch are very welcoming and nice but they can't due to poor management and rude customer service lady Ross.

Height of embarrassment - Owner (replying review) is lying as she ring me and yelled on phone that why I write review, I mentioned accept the reality and she is growling on phone. Zero tolerance and customer service skills. Time to change attitude and fake advertisement of free shipping on website, rather than scam of different prices on trade me and website.

Great store with lots of rugs of many sizes to choose from, friendly helpful staff. Purchased a 4.4mtre rubber backed hall runner which they cut to size and overlocked ends. I was placing the runner on top of carpet, I found it moved continually and went back to the store to ask if there was something I could use to hold it to the existing carpet, I was told the High Performance Ruggrip underlay was the best and would hold the runner in place. I followed verbal and written instructions exactly and found the underlay made no difference to the movement of the runner, so a waste of $70. If the runner hadn't been rubberbacked I'm sure it would have worked successfully.
