Rylock Auckland

My door exploded this week in a spontaneous shatter event. Graeme assured me it would be fixed this week before Christmas, told me that all glass they use is insured for 10 years and said I had nothing to worry about. He's now saying that the glass company, Glass Teams ltd, they used for my door doesn't actually insure against these spontaneous combustion a even though that's an industry standard and is saying I'm not covered because I was an existing client from before Altus purchased Rylock which he already knew when he said I was covered and they'd fix it. You may also be interested to know that the glass company they used has been accused by a glazier of having such shatter events with a frequency of once a month which is unheard of unless products not fit for purpose are being used. Had rylok east tamaki measure and suppy 1 ranch slider and a new back door when delivered builder attempted to fit the back door and descovered that it was 30mm to short and 30mm to narrow so after 4 hours and refitting the old door ben came out and told us they would supply false frames extentions so it covered the cedar weather board this never happened so 3 months later the builder fitted them and reclad the outside so a $1000 job for the builder turned into $2000 dollar job with cedar at $42+gst it ramped up quickly we gave up on emails and phone calls and just paid. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Have had horrible experience with Rylock. Poor customer service. And they made all sorts of excuses not to fix things they did terribly wrong. The worst workmanship I've ever seen. Big holes on the window top flashing causing leaks, sill trays don't cover the cladding, and etc.they are absolutely hopeless. All the money and time wasted. I had to fix the mess they left myself. Will never go near Rylock ever again. I would rate them negative, but Google doesn't work that way.

Thank you very very much Rylock, we had a small issue with our door after our builder installed it, the maintenance team were punctual, polite and hard working. They even tweaked another door for us.so THANK YOU very very very much for your fantastic after sales service and following this through to the end. No wonder your company wins prizes.its an absolute pleasure and I will only ever recommend Rylock.

Really impressed with the service from Rylock - everyone I've dealt with has out of their way to help me even though I've only had small requests each time. I'm not quite sure why all the below reviews are so negative, as I've used Rylock a few times on separate occasions and each time found them to be consistently great to deal with.

Useless uninterested in business don’t bother receptionist hestitant in sending a email to me but did, I sent one back asking sent a list a tentative windows house lot requirements asked for tentative which my builder urgently needed price that day. Did not need to be exact but based on my sizes supplied, still would need a professional measure and qoute sent a Building plan of the house also. No response from them on Friday not even a phone call.contacted 2 other companies on saturday with same details both were given same information immediately supplied attentive price. So if you are in the marketing looking for windows don’t waste your time this company run things at there speed. Told them I thought useless, receptionist said I hope other companies will help you

Came and measured then nothing even after I phoned and emailed and spoke to the person who measured Am giving them another chance now
