Sal's Authentic New York Pizza - Mount Eden

Delish pizza! Place looks a bit tired but friendly staff and most importantly delicious pizza:)

If you're looking for the most "authentic" American (USA) style pizza.this is your place! Actual pepperonis and not salami like most places. Loved it!

The pizza is great. Have ordered from this location quite a few times. The pepperoni wheels are always out of stock by 6pm though which is so frustrating. I think that has happened the last few times we’ve ordered.

Love the pizza's here particularly the one with the pesto on it! The garlic knots

Horrible service and lady was slamming all the pizza making tools. Also they were very rude to a little girl working. 14/2/23 Valentines Day. Unorganised and the worst sals I’ve ever been too

Had a good delicious food & friendly serve from George & meet. Finger licking good pizza’s. Highly recommend place. Good luck to both of you guys for excellent service.

Great if the teenagers finish work early and need a nibble. Lovely manager he seems to be there pretty much constantly.

Almost an hour late for an online order pick up - and order placed an hour before that.
So 2 hours to get a pizza ready! I think they gave my order to another customer who arrived 25 mins after me. I asked multiple times where my order was at. Just shrugged and said they were busy. Watched people arrive and leave with new orders and yet they did not put my order in the oven until I said I was giving up and wanted my money back. No apology. Won’t come back.

Ordered through uber eats on a Thursday night 9: 30pm and order was cancelled even though website says 10pm closing time.

Always Love the NY style thin Pizza. The size is perfect not too big not too thick, the Pepperoni Black Garlic is a must try.

I eat alot of pizza and have been to alot of different sals, this one is one of the best and its alot to do with who makes your pizza.

This is the second time now i have had Jared make my pizza, and i want him to make it all the time. To the owner of this sals, make sure you keep this guy!
Not only he makes great pizza, but his customer service is second to none.

Simple pizza done well that many will already know, this was my first visit to this branch and the staff member serving me this night was helpful and friendly, well done.

One of the better sal's in Auckland. Service is awesome. Many thanks to team for being awesome on a packed rainy day during busy hours. I come here often and I will return.

One slice of cheese pizza for $4?
And all other types of pizzas are over $4?
Isn't it cheaper to purchase from Pizza Hut instead?

The only thing I liked was the flavour.

As a native New Yorker, I think I'm authorized to review this spot. Great pizza, friendly staff, small space but you can eat there as well as get takeaway. If you sign up for their email list, you'll get weekly deals. Sal's is the only AKL pepperoni pizza my youngest will eat!

When you take home a pizza to share with friends having equal sized slices is part of the pizza deal.

Ordered a half and half from the Mount Eden branch and the pizza was pretty burnt. Usually love sals but this was very disappointing.
