Sal's Authentic NY Pizza

I ordered it online and was informed pick up time is 2: 19am. I arrived on time and was told I have to wait for another 20 mins and the reason is “ you ordered it at closing time”. I can’t wait that long so they cancelled my order.
Alright, I might create extra work for the staff and delayed their closing. I’m sorry.

Thanks for the extra ingredient of a dark hair found encrusted into the cheese of my half and half pizza lastnight. Absolutely repulsed!

Update: Sals have apologised & refunded me. Much appreciated although whoever that worker was with dark hair on the 17th April at 6.43pm that made my pizza should be fired! Wasn’t just the hair the whole pizza was disgusting and I know Sals usually have a higher standard than this.

Loved the pepperoni! Just like New York pizza! We were missing American food and this hit the spot. Went back twice!

Pizza is great as usual. But the service is slow. I normally go during lunch time and the waiting time is so long and the poor staff always seem to struggle.

A half nonna half pepperoni pizza for the meat eater and the vegetarian. Delicious We learnt from watching someone do it, you can get a side of ranch and dip the pizza in for an extra layer of flavour - it's genius

Only thing "Authentic NY" about Sal's is the size of the pizza. Insanely overpriced

YUM! One of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten. My husband and I are visiting from Sydney and are gonna miss this place when we head home!

Haven't had sals in a while so I forgot how good it taste! Came in here last night pretty quite with no line at all. Staff was so nice and friendly, and place was well kept. Only had 3-4 booths to sit on. Pizza was as good as always (pepperoni and buffalo chicken). Will definitely come back again:)

Although sometimes there is a waiting time that rarely happen in a while but very friendly and cheerful staff.

Great for takeaway. Can get in and out fast and it's on my way home from work via the britomart station. Sals pizzas are big and basic which is exactly what I want from a pizza.

I can honestly say at this store that I had the best customer service experience.
After a rough day, my partner and I stumbled up Fort street and found ourselves at Sals, and needless to say im glad we did!
We were greeted almost instantly with a big smile, the guy serving us (Zane) was so polite and friendly! He was attentive and presented himself so professionally, of course we werent suprised when complementing him on his accuracy and overall kind nature that he told us he was the store manager! I knew instantly after this experience that I needed to get his name and sing his praises online.

He even told us about their 3 knots for $5 after I joked to my partner that a single one of their delicious knots was never enough.

I personally want to thank you Zane (If you see this) we greatly enjoyed our night and you definitely made the both of us feel significantly acknowledged not only as customers but now loyal regulars. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Just tried to order online from Fort St site for team lunch tomorrow but it kept changing to K Rd site for an evening delivery. So gutted as I was going to spend $270 for this order

Tonight Zane showed us how great customer service can turn an aggravating mistake into a pleasant interaction. We received spicy wings instead of originals, we called to complain and Zane was very friendly and apologetic. He offered to replace the wings with the correct ones within 20 minutes. 15 minutes later he was at our door, apologized profusely and yet was very friendly.
Thank you Zane, you take care out there.

I've travelled the world and this is one of the only places I've found that can create NYC style pies outside of NYC. Love to get the XL Meatball, extra cheese, peppers and onions.

What's not to like? Tasty pizza, good service, couple of good craft beers on tap. Sit outside and watch the world go by for a while, great stuff!

Sloooooow pizza. New York pizza = fast food, New Zealand pizza = slow food. We waited almost an hour for half a pie. Ugh.

Nice small Sals in a comfortable and easy access spot. Great to get a bite before catching a train

Really nice atmosphere and the pizza is pretty great! Ordered a pepperoni pizza with a friend and enjoyed it!
