Saltwater Burger Bar

Definitely one of the best burger places in Auckland! Had the fish burger and it was very delicious although could've done with more of that special sauce. The fries were ace too!
Also has a cute garden you can enjoy your meal. Added this place to my list of fave locals anytime I'm craving a hearty burger, insanely HIGH value

Awesome burgers! Good quality good value. Great selection, everything looked so good it was hard to make a decision!
I like the garden area out back and the blankets are a nice touch.
There were no spring onions on the loaded fries, but otherwise good.
Will be back soon to try a different burger!

I ordered the Demi burger it was nice except the whole reason I got it was because it said it had pickles. They unfortunately were missing and I wasn’t told they were out if they were.

Went here just before the ABs vs SA game at Mt Smart. Was busy but they were bang on with their estimated time for the food (45 mins). Burgers were tasty and we had tater tots.

Best burgers in Auckland, hands down. Pricing similar to fast food outlets but much higher quality. Good range of options. Dining out the back is magical.

The overall experience deserve 4.5 star, but kid meal set which is perfect size burger with cheese and sauce, drink and fries for $8.5 bridge the gap to make it 5 star. My recommendation to owner. The order area is unnecessary large. I rather you make it smaller and leave more space for kitchen. But fully insulate the order area from smokes and smell of kitchen. We were there for 2 min‌, the smell and smoke made it hard for us to concentrate to read burger descriptions. Providing that little sauce for 1$ is not helping costumers as well. Recommendation for eaters: the garden space is nice, please make sure to spray some mosquito repellant before coming there, they have some blanket but best to bring warm clothes.select your burger from menu here, the smoke and smell is too much in the shop to read the details. We will definitely visit this place again.

One of our favourite burgers! We've tried a few and they were all massive and yum! Could be a long wait so best order beforehand.

Had been wanting to try this place for a long time after seeing the reviews. The burgers were OK. The buns were different in a good way though probably don't stand up to moisture the way other types might (or could benefit from a moisture barrier) but still had a nice feel to them. The ingredients are fresh and reasonably tasty. Reasonable value and ok size. I'd return if in the area and wanted a burger but probably wouldnt travel especially again.

This is the BEST burger place in New Zealand it's not even debatable. Every time I am in Auckland I stop here. 100/10

Great place with a cute garden! Been on my list so long, and it was worth a trip from St Heliers. We had Blue Moon and Portobello. Very tasty. Fries are great as well.

Popped in to grab some takeaways on the way home. Lovely service even though they were short staffed. Burgers were pretty good, nice flavours, cooked well and fresh buns. Tried the satay loaded fries and polenta chips, both tasty and fresh with a good crunch.

This place does the best burgers in Onehunga - don't think about any other fast food joint, if you want a burger then get one from here. It's tasty and well priced.

I went to the saltwater burger bar last Friday and ordered a New York cheeseburger it was very busy but the weight time was reasonable Great service and the burger was the best I’ve ever had

Tonight my friend and I waited almost 50 minutes for our food. I know that the restaurant does phone orders but we had 3 people order after us and still received their food. Was also told it was a 20 minute wait which was no worry to us but then it became 30 then 40 and then 50 minutes of waiting. I get up to ask how long until our order is ready and the lady said they are just preparing the food and if I could just take a seat. I was already annoyed at this point because we were told a time frame (extra 10 minutes wouldn’t phase me but 20 minute yeah that’s a no from me) I didn’t say thank you for the food because how the lady came from around the corner and presented herself to me. Also no apology for the wait? ! But I hope it was worth it you’ve definitely lost some customers tonight:)
