Salvation Army Family Store

I have a fantastic experience every time I visit this op shop. I was talking to my friend about it the other day and saying there is a great friendly young guy there, always polite and helpful. I genuinely like going here, and the awesome shop assistant has really added to that. Great shop with fantastic staff

Good shop with some great bargains. Prices are reasonable and of course stock quality varies - it's an op shop! But I've found some great bargains here over the years. And staff are very friendly, especially the young man with the glasses. I always stop in for a friendly chat)

Royal Oak. Not very friendly or helpful until I revealed I wanted to donate. After donating i had a look in the shop and there was a young guy with bleached hair and glasses who was friendly and went out of his way to be helpful. An extra star because of that. Onehunga weren't much better telling they were shut 5 mins early when I wanted to donate. They didnt know i wanted to donate and didnt want to know when i pointed out their clock was 5 mins fast. However, on other occasions, they have been helpful and friendly.
Papakura branch have always been friendly and helpful. Mind you, i donating literally truck loads of stuff after my mother passed on.

Best op shop on Auckland when it comes to prices. I have had lovely encounters with the the whole team especially the young man with glasses. He regularly welcomes people as they walk in and also farewells them great shop!

There doesn't seem to be as much stock compared to this time last year. Prices are more than fair and there's a variety of stuff, from lounge suites cabinets kitchenware clothing etc. The staff are either lovely or stuck up and unfriendly. One gent in particular, glasses early 20s, has the personality of a wet mop. Said people should be kept out back unpacking boxes. Use to be our favorite store, Mr Humphries has put a stop to that, we no longer go there.

I had not been to the Sally Army Manakau store before and I found their stocks and service to be good.
Well worth a visit for those things you need but can't seem to find elsewhere.

I LIKE STOPPING AT THESE STORES AND FINDING SOME AWESOME THINGS FOR REASONABLE PRICES, AND THE SALVATION ARMY IS SUCH A EXCELLENT CHARITY ORGANISATION, THEY ARE THERE FOR ME AND MY CHILDREN, AND SUPPORT EVERYBODY THAT NEEDS A HAND FOR WHATEVER REASONS:) LOVE THEM

Sometimes limited stock then becomes expensive. But sometimes good especially when a lot of stock

Okay but some items are at retail prices. For example secondhand duvet inners they are selling for upto $15! Go to Briscoe's sale and buy brand new ones for $12 - all sizes! Seems to be a trend with a lot of the op shops now - getting to pricey.

Wonderful staff showing christian values. The prices arent ridiculous like some other sallies stores. They have a lot of furniture bedding clothes and books.not a lot of toys or shoes. But the nick nak pile by the cashier is always worth a look

THE SALVATION ARMY IS A AWESOME CHURCH BASED/ NON PROFIT CHARITY THE FAMILY STORE HAS GREAT DEALS FOR EVERYONE, NO MATTER WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR.

We had many great bargains from this shop when we lived locally and still check it out if we find ourselves in the area. The shop is easy to find, it is always well laid-out, and the staff are lovely!

Nice shop. Has some very good clothing and household items. Would recommend to anyone looking for warm beddings and clothing on a budget.

Generally they always have some sort of sale or deal on, and on occasion a good find can be found.

Wheel chair parking out side door. The store located on a corner a bit hard to spot if driving up street. Clean and tidy store.

Love the staff because they're so helpful and friendly. The stuff donated are always in good condition and the store is always in order. I've found so many books that I've needed to complete my home library.

A reasonably large store with plenty of women's clothing and kitchen things. Half price today so found a few extras for a good price.
