Handy and fairly quick, they are open on Sunday and quite busy, a WOF is $45, but the replacement of a $5 foglamp (INSPECTOR didnt like the unmatched colour) cost me $ 40, he didn't know how to fit it, and it lasted three days. At least they replaced it, a good mechanic, but cost me another half hour. My car was repaired and passed but mechanic only 3 days prior.

Replacement is too expensive, it is 4 times that of other stores, a word pit, just these two rubber pads are 414 New Zealand dollars

BAD SERVICE. Promise to finish in one day, drag to 4 days, different price quote, different price paying, the reception try to argue about the price although she's not the one who give the quotation.

我的车因为方向盘歪，昨天去做了个四轮定位。做完了师傅还出去开了一圈，说没问题，挺好。我刚开出去就发现和以前一样，方向盘还是歪的。于是我把车又开回来，问了才说方向拉杆球头有点间隙了，调不了了。
你搞不了为什么不告诉我啊？还说没问题？我这100$花了个寂寞啊！扔进水里还能起溅水花呢！

My car had a four-wheel alignment yesterday because the steering wheel was crooked. After that, the master went out for a drive and said it was ok, very good. As soon as I drove out, I found that the steering wheel was still askew as before. So I drove the car back again and asked about it before I said that there was a little gap between the ball joints of the steering rod and it couldn't be adjusted.
Why can't you tell me? No problem? I can splash when I throw this $100 into the water!
I'm very disappointed!

Very professional staff, were patient in listening to the issue, kept to their promise of the turnaround time. Good experience overall.

Went there with a slowly leaking tyre. Found and fixed the problem within 30 minutes, despite being very busy and me not having a booking.

I used to be a happy customer about their service, until they replaced some good WOF techs and turning to be picky on the minor faults. Never go there again. WOF fee has been raised up all of sudden.

At first we had a problem with our repair but Sam put everything right quickly which was very much appreciated - Thanks Sam

I have never needed to leave a review so bad. I took my car to three different mechanics who didn't know where the clunk is coming from. Sam's motors fixed in 15 minutes.

Like to exaggerate the problem of the car and profit from it.
For your own money and car, don't go there.

They doing their best to fix all the clients car, they provide professional services and technical support.

They are expert at ripping people off. I went there with car overheating problem. They charged me $45.00 for 30 mins inspection. Which I highly doubt they spent the time. After 1 day they quoted me $189.00 to fix it and said they are not sure if changing the part will fix the problem. I was able io get it fixed from a different workshop under half of the price the offered.

Got my car fixed and a WOF. Good experienced. Friendly staffs and professional mechanics. Definitely will come back.

修了車，噴了漆，還過了WOF。技師很專業，態度很好。很不錯的店。

I dropped of my car for WOF done at their shop, they made me walk 2 blocks away to go and get my car from a different location. They didn’t even changed the wipers. When I asked them to change them they charged me $ 70 for them. Very bad service and Poor communication as they don’t speak fluent English. I would not recommend them at at all.

Went out of there way to wait for me though they had passed closing hours as I had to be towed to there workshop from where I broke down

Recently bought a car from a dealer in Avondale, who uses Sam's Motors for their Warrants.

They SHOULD NOT HAVE A WOF LICENSE.

I've just had someone else independently inspect the vehicle.

Here's a list of stuff it should have failed on:

Front & rear engine mounts completely worn.
All Lower control arm bushes, completely worn.
Front Balljoints, completely worn.
Front sway bar link bushes, cracked.
Front Sway bar D bushes, perished.
Rear brake light faulty.
Moisture in front headlights.

If you value your life, and who ever else is on the road DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO SAM'S MOTORS IN AVONDALE.

These guys are dodgy, and must do favours for the car dealer on the corner.

I'll be reporting to LTSA etc come Monday Morning.

Absolutely pitiful and simply dangerous.
