5Don't bother taking yr scrap to this place they rip you off not fair pricing on steel tell you to drive on scales before telling you the prices etc so once you unload to late if you want gd pricing go to Mc camish metals in onehunga way better in my opinion.
Absolutely terrible service and a total rip off I suggest going to another place
I have coming to to place now a while but called in today with a small amount of scrap metal they unload my trailer only to tell me not enough so wouldn't pay for what was drop off be aware of this place! Better service and prices elsewhere
Scrap Shop is falsely advertising that they will pay for dishwashers, oven, range hood, stove tops, mobile phones, wires. They actually don't, they only paid for copper pipes (4x) and car battery (1x) and a old laptop = $31 for the lot. When I got to shop they actually said they wouldn't pay for my stainless items (dishwasher, stovetop, range hood, oven, mobile phones, ipod), which is contrary to what is said to the website. Don't waste your time and effort lugging all your things. Just put it out in inorganic.
