Delicious food. Generous portions. Lovely atmosphere. Would definitely go back there again

Attended Christmas lunch here - what a lovely dining experience! The venue was decorated beautifully, staff were lovely and there were beautiful touches to the event like Santa who was so wonderful with the kids and gave out some fantastic gifts. The grounds and addition of the jumping castle were great!

My only suggestion would be more bar staff as the line/wait for drinks was extremely long, and as I think the staff were under pressure were making a few errors with customer orders, prolonging the process. Perhaps also some line management options to help direct people in/out of buffet and bar. Our table, like a number of others, had large volumes of people lining up almost on top of us, which meant that people were constantly bumping into our table/food/drinks and us directly.

That feedback aside, it was a wonderful experience, especially as a tourist visiting for a special event. The great Santa they had was definitely the main winner. He was wonderful with the guests and kids!

Went here after Facebook recommendations. Was pleasantly surprised at how good the quality of food was. The tuna tartare was excellent, though I was slightly disappointed seeing my friend have the scallops and claim it was the best he's ever had! My wife had the aubergine chips which she really enjoyed.
Eye fillet for mains was very good, with a good combination of varied flavors.
The decor was keeping with the theme, and while we early it was quiet but the ambience picked up.
Almost every second table had a birthday and they were very accomodating with birthday plates and many happy birthdays!
Coeliac were were well accommodated with many options.
Service was friendly but a little slow but granted it was her first night and she was very pleasant. Good wine list.
Town prices for food, but at least as good as the better establishments.
Overall, it's great to have quality like this out North West, recomended.

Such an easy place to have a wedding, everything is taken care of. The manager is fantastic to deal with, very prompt with responses and professional. Venue is versatile and a one stop shop. Food was really good and plenty of it. Totally recommended.

Exceptional food, warm and friendly staff, and great atmosphere. Went once for dinner and twice for brunch last time in Auckland for a few days! The brunch menu is delicious and amazing value for money.

A value for money set menu for 30 people was served swiftly and meals were hot. Will return to restaurant again

We had a family dinner and really enjoyed the atmosphere, very good service and excellent food.

Love this place, straight our of a fairytale book. Complete with knights in shining Armour & a Cinderella carriage. Not too far from the motorways, ideallic country setting. You must take a visit here to see for yourself before committing to your wedding venue.

I dined here last night. The staff were absolutely so lovely & always came to check to see if we needed more drinks or if our food was ok. Service was fast, delicious & so worth it. Might have to make this a regular go to! Best margaritas I’ve had so far. Lovely atmosphere. Overal highly recommend!

Fantastic place for a wedding. They have distinct areas which helps to go from drinks to ceremony to drinks to food to dancing. Lovely staff a n.v d great manager making sure everything flowed.

Abigail is amazing! We absolutely appreciated her communication skills during the planning of our wedding, such an important aspect to event planning. A huge plus with Settler's is that it is beautiful inside and out. We ended up having to have our ceremony inside which would usually be a disappointment, but it wasn't because it's Settler's.
Our guests loved the venue, friends and family were telling us how great is was all night. One even said it was so much better than the winery wedding venue they had attended a few weeks earlier, they said the winery venue was quite bland but Settler's is gorgeous & has so much character!

Had our wedding here a couple weeks ago and it was amazing! Working with Abigail made it easy to organise a wedding from overseas with a 12 hr time difference. We got many compliments on the food - delicious! Settlers is beautiful and there are so many spots for magical pictures. Despite the recent weather events, everything came together perfectly. Wish I could do it all over again! Thank you.

We were lucky enough to secure a date in February for our wedding, amazing venue and Abigail and the team were awesome. Due to wild weather the lower gardens were unavailable but the team pulled off a magical day. Really good working with Settlers and they made the day so easy. Thanks!

Wow! We held our Wedding at Settlers Manor last month and what an incredible venue and unforgettable day.
Abigail and her team were incredible at accomodating to our needs (as last minute flooding was planned the night before) bringing our ceremony from outdoors indoor without any trouble.
Many of our guests complimented the gorgeous area and regardless of the weather, it was an incredible time with loved ones. Highly recommend considering this as your Wedding venue, really every couples dream and so effortless!

Beautiful location to have your wedding full of character. The team are amazing the manager Dylan goes above and beyond and Abigail is a lovely lady. Food is perfect, we had a band playing and it absolutely rocked with the bar flowing! We extended our time until midnight even. Only suggestion is to anyone who is wanting to book please make sure you have a good MC and evening planned out as the place is literally only venue hire and food they do not do any of this stuff I know other places do incase this is something you are wanting. All in all was an amazing day/night, thank you Settlers Country Manor:)

We had our wedding reception here the day after the Auckland floods and it was the best place we could have had it. Even in a crisis, Settlers Country Manor was extremely reliable and delivered superbly on the day. Abigail was absolutely amazing to work with, she was extremely responsive, communicative and competent right from day one. She was very attentive to our needs and requests and on the day she and her staff ran everything in a way that allowed me and my husband to really relax into and enjoy the day completely. The food was excellent, our guests are still raving about it! The grounds and venue are well kept and our guests were very complimentary of how tasteful and full of character the venue was. It's quite unique with a very classy vibe and special atmosphere, also making for great photos which we haven't received yet from the photographer but are very excited to see. Overall, the general flow of the day seemed effortless. It is an extremely professional outfit and you are in incredibly competent and reliable hands with Settlers. Compared to other wedding venues, we loved that Settlers offers such a comprehensive package that is well priced, clearly outlines what you get, and you get such good service throughout the entire planning process as well as on the day itself. It was honestly the perfect place for our special day. We really did have our dream fairytale wedding and are so grateful to Abigail and her team at Settlers Country Manor for pulling it off, even in the midst of an extreme weather crisis. Would 100% recommend this special venue in a heartbeat.
