This is the third shower dome I have had installed by Showerdome NZ.
They are invaluable in keeping a bathroom in pristine condition.
Plus fogged up mirrors are a thing of the past!

I installed a showerdome during renovations to my bathroom to prevent condensation and therefore mould developing on the new paint. As my house is 100 years old & I have retained the Rimu paneling this is critical. An unexpected health benefit has been the improvement to my breathing from the increased humidity within the shower. As I have developed COPD due to severe childhood asthma this is great. As an experienced nurse we often used to steam up areas (increase humidity) for children to assist in their breathing. It works for adults too.

Our Showerdome looks fantastic and has made a significant difference to condensation in our bathroom. The whole process from initial contact to installation was straightforward and easy - thank you!

Really pleased with the showerdome that's just been installed. Very thorough and careful installers. Used it for the first time today- no bathroom or mirror condensation despite having no extractor fan. Impressive.

I installed mine in an alcove, so a bit more care was needed with internal measurements. I cut a template out of the cardboard packaging that came with the showerdome. I had to cut all 4 sides to get the dome central (for cosmetic reasons only). I used a 100mm angle grinder with a thin diamond blade. Cutting was easy but makes a fair bit of dust and mess, so best to do outside with earmuffs and protective goggles. Once the cuts were made, I sanded the edges lightly, and slid it into place. This is the second one of these I have installed, and I love them. People always think there are going to be whole lot of cold drips falling down on you, but all that happens is a fine mist of water droplets that evaporate over the day. Just leave the shower door ajar after it has cooled, and the shower and bathroom should remain mould free.

Brilliant, I fitted it myself no problem and it really does work. Keeps in warmth and steam while you shower.

Excellent product! The plexi glass is so much thicker and crystal clear, compared to the thin semi opaque material used in the Bunnings copy. And a quick call to the maker advised me to use a multi tool for the cutting. So I did the complete install myself, had no problems at all, looks great.

Fantastic product that does what it states it does. No need for a heated mirror and no paint moisture damage.

Love the Showerdome! Easy to install and has made a huge difference to the moisture levels in the bathroom.

Third shower dome we have had in two different houses. Wouldn’t be without one. No condensation with one. Had to use a dehumidifier in the bathroom before we installed one.

I was disappointed with the shower dome as the glue holding it in place has come unstuck in places and I've only had it a few days - not sure how it will stand the test of time. It was professionally installed. Previously to having the dome installed, I placed a flat piece of perspex over the shower myself. It was thicker than the dome perspex and despite the odd drop of water falling while showering, it kept the inside of the shower remarkably warm - noticeably warmer than the dome. In hindsight, even though the flat, thicker perspex didn't look very professional, it worked better than the dome and I wished I'd kept it!

Tried it straight away after installation and can feel the difference. Warmer bath and lesser condensation. Very satisfied.

Much warmer while in shower, even while dialling down hot water level. No outside condensation, mirror stays dry. Would thoroughly recommend.

Highly recommend a Shower Dome for a drier bathroom. No condensation and you save on power not using a bathroom fan. A big thumbs up on less cleaning up mould, mildew and condensation.:)

Have purchased a shower done for every shower I've had, from house to house (6 domes). Great price point, easy to install and they do exactly as they describe. Can't recommend enough

Have had a showerdome before many years ago, had our current house renovated and it was a "no brainer" to put one in our new bathroom, it does exactly what it says, keeps the moisture in the shower and out of the bathroom! With the cost of living always rising including power, it was cheaper in the long run to the alternative of an electric extractor fan.
Excellent, quick, professional service as always! Lifetime warranty, what's not to love!
