Simon from Siba has done a couple of jobs for me now including my Yacht cushions and my leather upholstery in my big American car. Fantastic results and reasonably priced for the high quality work.

Simon is a real craftsman, with a great eye for detail. He makes beautiful products that are all excellent quality. He's also great to work with and he's always really helpful and responsive.

Did a great job of a custom bench seat for us on a 100 yr old house.

We are so happy with our beautiful chair, it was looking really old and worn out with the leather peeling and now it is looking so modern and fresh. Kylie and Simon are lovely to deal with and so professional and talented in what they do. We struggled to find someone who would be able to replace the fabric on our chair and they didn't even blink and knew they could do it. Thank you so much! I highly recommend

I'm delighted to have my three seater couches back from Simon at SIBA. They are better than new - look and feel is great. Simon and his team are craftsmen; the cushions fit perfectly, the stitching is amazing, and the extra layer of cushioning is so comfortable. Simon also has a designer's eye for the right fabric - his first recommendation was bang on, and he's very obliging in allowing you to take lots of samples of a good range of fabrics home for a try. Can't wait to find something else to re-cover.

We ordered the cross headboard in linen with a charcoal cross and it’s absolutely beautiful. The craftsmanship cannot be faulted and the installation could not have been easier. It’s such a sturdy and well made piece, we would recommend Siba Design to anyone looking for a beautiful piece of furniture. We live on Waiheke and shipping can be problematic at times, but Simon and the team at Siba organised the shipping for us without hesitation. Thanks Simon, amazing product and service. Simon designed a custom sofa for me from a photo. It is just perfect. Stunning workmanship, perfect proportions and exceeded my already high expectations. Simon is talented and a pleasure to work with. I'm planning my next project with him already. Highly recommend him

Simon and his awesome team did a fantastic job of recovering my grandfather's chair. His guys do top notch workmanship and the price is very reasonable. Simon was very accommodating with me even though I was very picky and It took me a while to decide exactly the fabrics I wanted to use.

I have used Simon and his team of professional upholsterers at Siba design for many jobs from intricate velvet bedroom head boards to recovering retro mid century furniture that required an artistic eye and meticulous attention to detail.

Reading a couple of negative reviews here and had to comment as I feel they do not reflect Simons approach at all. I had my lounge suite recovered two years ago and Simon was incredibly helpful and the workmanship excellent. He did a couple of small extra things without being asked or charging. Pick up and delivery was seamless. I am about to have him do another job for me.
I think people need to understand the pressure of small business as when you are the owner manager salesperson receptionist delivery person designer and doing the actual physical work as well- sometimes there may not be the energy or time to be an in- store customer service specialist. Having said that I found Simon polite responsive and timely.

Spoke on phone to the owner or manager he was reasonably disinterested in my job but he did tell me to send through some photos. I said is text ok.yes he said so I sent them through and never heard from him so I messaged him again to make sure he got them.never heard again so I rang him late the next day.he stated he doesn’t really look at texts and to email them through but he did remember seeing the photos and said they were funny shaped chairs.which they are not.all I wanted was a slip over cover to protect chairs from the sunlight.and he suggested I get tinted windows.clearly he didn’t want the job!

We have recently had our retro lounge suite reupholstered by Siba Design and are extremely happy with the outcome. From the advice on fabrics and colours to complement the era of the furniture to the comprehensive quote and prompt collection and turnaround, the process was incredibly easy. Their workmanship is to a very high standard and I would definitely recommend their upholstery services.
