Have had a few experiences here and it's an awesome atmosphere. Ol'mate Dylan is a great server. Definatly coming back

We ate here on a wednesday late afternoon early evening, yes this is a pub & a pool hall but we came here for the food. We had a recommendation to come here for dinner.
The two guys that served us were really nice and wow the servings were a good size with amazing food. My friend had the sirloin steak with salad & fries. I had the baby back ribs both meals were so soft & tender. I'll definitely be back next time I'm out this way again

We had booking for 12.45pm and upon arrival found out we had to be out by 2pm for a private function. We asked for ''Fluffys'' for the little ones and she didn't have a clue what they were. She said she'd find out for us and ages later got some milk froth in a paper cup. We ordered meals and had to explain in depth what the order was. One of us ordered a beer and it took about 20mins for that to come. Finally at 1.40pm our meals came. My Chicken Bowl was coleslaw from a bag with baby lettuce, from a bag, and a few slices of chicken slices. My husband's Fish Burger was overcooked crumbed fish and lettuce, no tartar sauce, red onion, tomato that we usually find. I couldn't eat my food and hubby left half of his. Daughter had to speak to manager so we could stay a bit after 2pm. The waitress was so unhelpful and unfriendly, the food was mostly inedible and the decor was tired and broken. Save yourself and just don't go there, there are plenty of other choices in the area.

Went to watch the warriors game so only got a hot choc and a beer (all good). Service was outstanding, the projector was used to show the game on a full wall, which was really thoughtful. Nice and busy with the pool tables, clearly everyone was having a great time.

First time there, but we will definitely be back again. Went out for dinner and a game of pool with family. Everyone loved their meal, and the staff were so friendly and attentive.

If you plan on heading over for a game, I suggest you book your pool table online, or you may be waiting for a while. Or you could enjoy a meal and drinks while you wait for a table.

Food itself was decent, nothing special. Very big portions though, which is good for the price. Pool tables were pretty expensive - $20 for an hour.

We reserved a (dining) table for lunch, only to turn up and no table was reserved even though our booking was in the system. Service was slow and spotty but friendly enough.

Worst part was they charged us a 15% surcharge for everything, on the Saturday of Easter Weekend. It's not a public holiday and they aren't giving workers time and a half for today so this was quite frankly unbelievable. When we pushed back the employee only said her manager insisted on it. Bloody cheeky.

I can’t count how many times we’ve eaten Slate and it NEVER disappoints.
The food is always hot, fresh and really good portion sizes. As well as being insanely tasty. Highly recommend the chicken rotis and loaded fries!

Food is pretty bloody tastey. Little slow to come out but the lamb and the ribs are delicious. The chef definitely takes pride in the meals

Went to go in for some drinks with some mates on a Saturday night just after 9pm and they said they were closing but yet it says they close at 12am

Food isn't the worst but just came to get my order as it said it was ready and it wasn't for a further 20 mins. One elder guy doing all the work in the kitchen while 3 girls lazed around the till I felt sorry for the guy 3 stars.

Very expensive. Cost $60 to use the pool table for 3 hrs despite spending $250 + on drinks and snacks.

Great place to take teenagers who like to play pool. Food was delicious. I had Buttermilk chicken salad bowl. Nice big serving, I couldn't eat it all.

Good food and drinks. The pool tables are well set up, a great game to play with friends. Thoroughly enjoyed spending the evening there catching up with my mates.

We had lunch here today and it was amazing! Food and service. Kids eat free on Sundays with a main meal purchase! Well worth going and taking the kids.

Four of us dined there for lunch. Service was great from start to finish. There is a huge variety of drinks to choose from and the cocktail we had, was well made and nicely presented.

We had the buffalo wings, prawn and feta pizza, soft shell tacos (best of the lot), fish and chips and calamari. The food came out quickly, was generous in portions and tasty. We over ordered and over ate.

The added bonus was the pool table but be warned you have to pay to play and there is a time limit.
